Name:Brine Cast

Gender: Male

Appearance: Brine is a caucasian male of a somewhat tall height of 6'1 while still maintaining an average weight unlike most tall people who are quite lanky. Brine's brown eyes match the short, light brown hair that Brine keeps spiked up in front. Brine has only a tad bit of muscle, nothing flashy though.

Clothing Style: Brine usually throws on whatever he can find, usually some skinny jeans and a T-shirt that could be passed of as clean. Once in a while he'll go fancy (for his tastes) and even put on a long sleeve. Brine tries to pass it off as him liking to wear clothes that allow him to move more naturally, really though it's just he's lazy. (I can't stress how lazy he is)

Personality: Other than lazy, Brine can be bitingly sarcastic, along with his inability to be professional. Brine really just wants to have a good time with his life while he's alive.

Abilities: Brine can lift, push, and pull objects. Brine can also animate objects (action figures, statues, and the like. Up to a certain size of course) Brine also happens to be quite the marksman too, being adept with both modern weapons (guns, crossbows) and historical weapons (Bow and Arrow). While Brine is adept with guns he does prefer Bows and Crossbows due to the fact that he can control the arrows to an extent, get a straighter shot, controlling drop, and even moving it just slightly.

Weapons: A matte black compound crossbow that Brine affectionately calls "Mila." For quicker and more up close combat, Brine uses a small composite bow with carbon arrows. While Brine can use guns, Brine does not own any guns personally and is only supplied one if a mission calls for it.

Limit Break: Puppeteer- Brine's victim is enveloped in and electric blue color and, while the victim is still conscious, Brine can contort and control his victim for a period of time, but only while his victim is in his sight.

Past: Brine was born to a small, nondescript family living on the outskirts of neo vegas. Brine's powers were discovered by his family at 13 and, not wanting him to become a bounty hunter, hid them from the outside world, and forbade him of using them in public. At 15, Brine's dad was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and was put out of work. To raise money for his father's treatment and for the rest of his family's upkeep Brine turned to petty theft which in turn led to robberies of some smaller casinos in neo vegas, which helped develop his powers even more. Finally though, justice caught up with Brine at the age of 16 and was given an ultimatum, join the bounty hunters, or be jailed. Obviously Brine went with the bounty hunters. Due to his lazy attitude he didn't quite do any spectacular work and it took him 8 years to work his way up to wiseman. Brine's last guild recently disbanded by the members' own accords, and after an intense game of Eenie Meenie Minie Mo, Brine chose to join the Slayers guild.

Goal: To work off his community service and start a normal life.


EDIT: Darn, just read Hips' (mind if I call you Hips or is that only a friend thing?) post and just realized that mine is pretty similar with Brine being a PSI, living in neo vegas, and life of thievery, don't know if this will affect anything.

The Neo Vegas thing is okay, the city is really big so two people meeting is not that likely.

Just wanted to clear that a Guild cannot be disbanded by the BHA unless that Guild has comitted a crime worth death sentence or Rogue. If a Guild disbands then it depends on the members itself on whether they want to get rid of it. Also when a Guild is disbanded the Hunters from that Guild aren't transferred though they are given the choice of joining a new Guild if they so wish to.
 
So... does that mean I'm in, or not, or you want something changed?

OOC: I cannot for the life of me remember if I was in the first one, and I want to use Stephanie but again, I don't remember her being in the first one so I will treat her like a new character.

Name: Stephanie Ferguson

Appearance: In her normal mode Stephanie has light blonde hair going past her shoulders, with an wisp of orange in one strand of hair in the front. Her eyes are light blue and matches her light pale skin. She is about 5'7 tall and is considered a plain Jane look, she is about average weight, neither skinny or fat. She doesn't stand out much from others as she refused to wear make up or even jewellary.

Clothing Style: Stephanie mostly wears plain looking clothes, basic colors such as blue, red, white and green shirts along with blue jeans, she hates wearing skirts and dresses, and doesn't really like having much of a logo on her shirt. Her shoes are white and joggers

Personality: Stephanie is one of the more tomboy girls and hates a lot of things that are considered girly girl, she just prefers to be more of a independent person. She is considered tough and leader material, able to fight her way through a tough battle. She often doesn't give up and can be a little stubborn, however she does have a soft side and can be quite nice. However she only shows that to people she likes. Among all of that Stephanie is also known to be a little bubbly at times and even outgoing or kidding around.

Abilities: Stephanie can control and create fire, sending fireballs and flamethrowers at enemies, she isn't hurt by fire itself either. However it can wear her down a little and water is her greatest weakness, even dousing her with huge amount of cold water can send her into a coma or worse, a drop can make her slightly weaker. She is able to use hot water to drink and shower however.

Weapons: A small jagged dagger, but nothing else as she prefers to use long range and her magic.

Techniques: Stephanie can also create a fire barrier to protect her from most attacks that aren't water based, and also create fireworks into the sky.

Limit Break: Stephanie can achieve a mode which she calls the Fire Goddess Mode, however it is very hard to reach and requires a lot of anger or grief, or even both for Stephanie to reach it. Once she does, her clothes turn a deep red color and becomes a dress, not that they can be seen much when fire erupts all around her, her hair becomes a full blown color between orange and red, her eyes are a orangish color and fire is all around her. The fire becomes even hotter and stronger then her normal skills, almost hot as a volcano, as a result once it has ended causes Stephanie to be extremely weak, but there is usually nothing left to defeat in the end. There is also a rare chance of her body starting to glow and risking blowing everything up. (Like Peter from Heroes).

Her second mode is called Flame Girl, where her entire body is covered in flames, it is more easier to reach then Fire Goddess, but still needs enough rage inside her, when she does there is nothing that isn't covered in fire on her, she can shoot into the sky and the powers, more weaker then Fire Goddess but still hits hard.

There is also a secret mode Stephanie has ever only done once, but never figured out how to do again. She calls it the Blue Fire, which her fire skills become extremely hot blue fire instead of an orange-red, she doesn't change much in this mode, but she has never figured out how to get it to happen again, the blue fire is even hotter then red.

Past: Stephanie was born in Fuego District to her parents, who were both coal miners. They would often leave Stephanie with an neighbor as a child, where she found herself meeting many friends and people. She loved the District and everything around it. At age of fifteen Stephanie discovered fire didn't hurt her as much as she thought it did, however water did. After a near death experience her parents explained to Stephanie about her powers and skills to control fire. And that she couldn't be near cold water or it could hurt her really badly. So she took hot showers and only drunk hot water, honing these skills over time.

After turning sixteen Stephanie ventured into the volcano herself and came out unscathed, so she started to collect rocks and things from the volcano, and opening her own little stall in the markets, selling everything she found inside the volcano, even little rare gems and rocks that she didn't think people would actually want. Her parents were proud of her and promised they would buy Stephanie something big when she turned eighteen.

Two years passed by and Stephanie adapted to the volcano and the heat, she even seemed to have met a few fire creatures. Her goal was to one day find out if the Dragons her parents used to tell her about were true, and control them, especially those with fire. She found a rare dragon scale deep inside the volcano and kept it. Her 18th arrived but she never got her gift, instead Stephanie found her parents murdered inside the house. She started a course on finding out who killed her parents, before her neighbors even ended up dead.

She eventually found some of them who were able to use skills like her, but were using it for evil and talking about the True Warrior. She fought hard but started losing, however she suddenly started using flames that were blue, her hair even turned a little blue as she managed to defeat them, that was the first and last time Stephanie was ever able to use Blue Fire, she never figured out how to use it and spent her adult life trying to bring it back, not knowing how it happened.

Over the years Stephanie decided to use her skills for good and fighting evil, at 24 after fighting a hard enemy, she turned into a mode that she now called Flame Girl, able to erupt her body into flames and stop the enemies.

At thirty Stephanie found herself with her strongest mode out of the two, although her Blue Fire seemed like a mode, she couldn't ever tell if it was a fluke or not. Instead fighting ten enemies against her alone, all who had powers and even subdued Stephanie. At the time she was dating a woman named Kate Benson, they threatened Kate's very own life and even were going to torture and rape Kate right in front of her, she was someone Stephanie loved for four years and she couldn't stand anything happening to her. Her rage grew and Stephanie's form turned into what she called the Fire Goddess Mode. She was able to fight back and use powerful fire moves that saved Kate's life, it left her almost clinging to life due to the massive heatwave but after a couple of weeks Kate survived. Stephanie was also weakened and left unconscious at the scene, if another hero hadn't taken Stephanie and Kate to the hospital they both could have died.

At 33 Stephanie decided it was too dangerous for her to be with Kate, or anyone. Her next battle with a water skilled person almost had Kate killed, and Stephanie almost exploded the entire town that Kate lived in, in Wayward City. Stephanie told her she was leaving for a town on the far side of the continent and left a heartbroken Kate who tried getting her to stay, but Stephanie couldn't allow her to get hurt anymore as she was just a mortal.

She went back to her old hometown and rebuild her life before joining the Slayers, she hoped she could help for the greater good and do more things to save other lives. She still thinks about Kate and hides an engagement ring in her pocket, hoping that perhaps one day, she will change her own mind and reunite with Kate to propose, until then Stephanie focused on getting stronger and perhaps even finding a Dragon and managing to tame it.


Goal: To practice her Fire Skills and become the Master, or strong enough to call herself the Fire Queen/Fire Goddess. She also would like to tame a Dragon if they even exist.

Name: Markus (Mark) Dellin
Gender: male

Appearance: Mark stands around 5’8” so he isn’t very tall, and his lean build adds to his smallish stature. He has very dark brown hair that is occasionally mistaken for being black. His eyes are a very dark green as well, and are hidden very well in the shadows of his scraggy hair. His face has a very angular appearance, as do his ears, but his ears are not pointy.

Clothing Style: Mark has a rather simple fashion sense. He wears some generic button shirts and jeans. He figures appearance matter less then functionality so there are a couple of extra pockets on the jeans, and he usually has a jacket or vest which he can carry more things in. He even has a set of watches with built in knives. For color scheme Mark wear mostly earthy colors, greens and brown.

Personality: Mark is a quiet and serious person, but mostly because of his vocal cords being crushed. He is forced to communicate through sign language and body language making his emotions his only form of communication. By keeping them in check most of the time they are more noticeable when he lets them out.

Abilities: Mark is highly skilled in telekinetics. He can move things up to three or four times his own weight. He mostly focuses on little things though. He’s gotten lots of practice curving bullets and making trick shots. He treats it all like a delicate art because it is. Ever detail of his shots needs to work perfectly or they will fail.

Weapons:

KSP 54 handguns: two pistols made to fire specially made ricocheting bullets.

GOR 68 sniper rifle: Mark’s main weapon. It has enough power combine with his own to snipe and kill someone from over fifty miles, but that would require Mark to put all of his energy into the gun. Normally it can cover a mile or two without any assistance, and in a straight line, but if Mark plans to do trick shots he needs to help the gun and bullet along.

Sicklewings: Mark’s backup weapons. Bladed boomerang like weapons which always return to him unless they get stuck in someone’s back or front or whatever.


Techniques: Mark prefers to use his trick shots (curving bullets, ricochets, etc.) to cripple or eliminate his targets.

Limit Break: Mark completely unloads all of his guns ammo then using his PSI powers flys them around taking out any of his targets with extreme prejudice. He tends to do this from a secluded spot and specifically track down his targets one by one. While controlling the bullets he can see everything around them with his mind’s eye (PSI skill for seeing without your eyes).

Past: Mark started out on the bad side. He was recruited by a small gang in his home town due to his excellent talent in murder. Mark even enjoyed it a bit, but when things went to fair Mark lashed out. He fought back against the gang, but was out numbered. The leader’s punishment was to have Mark’s vocal cords crushed so he could never talk back to him again. Mark never did, but he made sure to leave him a message with a single bullet through the brain. He was out.

Mark left the city and tried to find peace. He wanted to escape it all, and just run from his past. He found a new place a quiet life for a while, but his demons came back to haunt him. Mark had no income and was dragged into a bank heist. Again he came to his senses to late and damage had already been done. He was covering the others on the way out and he dropped his gun. The mag unloaded into the crowd killing six people. He lay there unable to move seeing the innocents body’s crumple to the floor. There was nothing left for mark, but to run.

Having done so much wrong Mark figured all that was left for him was to try and do something good. He hunted down the other thieves and the rest of his old gang, and slaughtered them. This still brought him no peace. With his only talent being death Mark found the slayers as his only remaining option. Maybe they could find a way to control this weapon. So Mark went to them and began even more training practicing to make sure he would never lose control and only ever make sure to kill when he had to.

Goal: To finally put his demons to rest and make his deadly talent a good thing.

Other: Gark has a pet iguana named Gurk. He is purely a pet and nothing more.

Appearance:Matthew is about 5'7 and weights about 185 lbs. His body is very built from the physical requirements of his style of magic. He also has somewhat short black hair and green eyes, though at times they shift towards a more crimson color. In the middle of his back there is a semi-large scorch mark from a Hellfire Blast during the Schwartz conflict several years ago.

Clothing Style
: When off duty, Matthew usually wears black pants with several semi-small pouches (for weapons) with a red t-shirt. When on a mission, he also adorns armor resembling a biped dragon, with pieces that cover his legs, feet, parts of his torso, and his arms. The set also includes a pair of clawed gloves. The armor is made to be nearly impervious to fire for obvious reasons.

The armor has also been modified to contain several concealed orange crystals. These crystals actually serve as a large-extent energy storage system and are essential for maintaining his Primal Form.

Personality:Matthew, while typically having good intentions, is normally somewhat reckless and short-tempered. This can, to an extent, be partially attributed to the constant physical work that is required to perform Dragonic Magic. However, it is also, by the same logic, due to his nature. In other words, he is a person who will act now and then, more often than not, regret it later. He will slowly become more friendly should a person try to become close to him. However, very few people are willing to do this.

Since discovering his Primal Form, Matthew's personality has become more reckless in general, even more so when he uses the aforementioned Limit Break. As a result, he has become more of a loose cannon when locked in combat,often wasting energy and going into higher forms than necessary.

Abilities: Matthew can turn his energy into pure flames, which he manipulates through the usage of Dragonic Magic, either gathering them around parts of his body to add to his physical strength of manipulating them to use his other main spells.

Weapons: Matthew typically only uses a special orange crystalic blade in combat, which is made of the same energy storage crystal as the ones in his armor. The blade itself is actually only a sword handle, through which elemental energy can be channeled and subsequently solidified into a blade.

Techniques: By using Dragonic Magic, Matthew can channel flames throughout his body for the purpose of increasing physical capabilities. In addition to this, he also has several named techniques.

Dragonic Sledge:Matthew covers his arms with flames before slamming it into his opponent.

Fire Darts:Matthew creates several small, dartlike objects of of solidified flames, and then throws them at the intended target. Each dart can emit a small burst of fire to propel itself, and will explode upon contact with any surface.

Dragon's Wings:Two small pillars of flames erupt from Matthew's upper back, and then quickly solidify into dragonlike wings.

Firewall:Matthew creates a wall of flames in front of him to defend himself.

Dragon's Edge:Fire envelops Matthew's clawed gloves and creates an extension to the claws, adding a fiery effect to their slashes in addition to slightly increased range.

Flame Blade:Matthew channels a moderately large amount of fire energy through his crystal blade handle, which slowly extends past the end of the aforementioned item and forms a semi-solid flaming blade

Dragonic Telepathy:Matthew can voice his thoughts privately via a subset of telepathy, as long as he makes physical contact with the person in question.

Fire Bomb:Matthew creates a massive sphere of flames in his hands. If he is not in one of his higher forms, he can only detonate it to create fiery shockwaves that surge outward. If he is in either his Dragon Embodiment or Primal Form, the sphere can also be thrown with the same effect occuring upon contact with any surface.

Firestorm:Matthew releases a torrential amount of fire from all over his body, which quickly forms a contracting twister around both him and the target. Matthew can only use this technique while in his Primal Form

Limit Break:Matthew has two abilities that serve as a Limit Break. The first of them is the Dragon's Embodiment. Upon its usage, a pillar of flames crashes down onto Matthew, enveloping his body and then solidifying into full-body and very dragonlike armor, complete with claws, wings, and a tail. The armor itself, in addition to defensive uses, greatly amplifies both the physical and magical capabilities of the wearer. Originally Matthew would have some difficulty using this form efficiently, meaning he would have little control over his energy usage at the time. After a year with the Slayers, however, he managed to master the skill, and now he can use it at any given moment.

The second Limit Break that Matthew can perform is his Primal Form. First, the Primal Form has to be used on top of the Dragon's Embodiment. What the technique itself does is agitate Matthew's strand of dragon DNA, which in turn causes it to temporarily take control of him. To initiate it, Matthew must make contact between his claws and his blade, and then release a massive amount of energy between the two. After the DNA strand takes control, intense red flames erupt from the crystals in Matthew's armor in his shoulders, knees, torso, and arms. The flames then form a spiralling pillar around him, quickly turning Matthew into the equivalent of a humanoid dragon. In addition to the massive increase in physical power and energy-based capabilities, Matthew can use the Firestorm technique while in his Primal Form. However,there are several drawbacks to it as well. While in this form, Matthew is scarcely present in his body, instead being motivated by primal instincts. In other words, he has little control over himself once he uses it. Additionally, the Primal Form drains a massive amount of energy to maintain itself, so even with the energy stored in his armor's crystals, Matthew can usually only maintain the form for a few minutes at the most. After using the Primal Form, Matthew is left exhausted and more often than not drained and burnt in several places, leaving him defenseless.

Past: Matthew was born into and raised by somewhat rich parents, who were somewhat unapproving of him still becoming a bounty hunter, even more so when he did at the age of 17. He used money earned from them to purchase armor that fit the style of magic that, until then, had remained as a forgotten part of his family's lineage:the Dragonic Style. Dragonic magic, contrary to most styles, is mainly suited for close-range, physical combat. Most of the spells produced by those capable of performing this odd style of magic involve covering parts of the users body with flames to increase physical capabilities. However, even with the increase they provide, Dragonic magic is still very strenuous on the body, and requires complete diligence as it relates to staying in near-top physical shape. Matthew initially struggled to master the basics of Dragonic magic, eventually turning to the almost hellishly-difficult task of going through Dragonic Training. For the next few months upon entering the semi-exclusive training program, Matthew would have to fight for survival in a subvolcanic enviroment, and he would also master most of the spells basic to Dragonic Magic.

After leaving Dragonic Training, Matthew eventually joined the Slayers to meet his goals of growing in power and experience. During his time with the Slayers, he managed to gain control over his Dragon's Embodiment form. He also discovered how to initiate his Primal Form, which confirmed his belief that his bloodline did contain dragon DNA. Now, as the Guild continues to grow in size, number, and prestige, Matthew hopes to continue his own growth as well.

Role in the Team: Powerhouse

Goal: To work towards both his own growth and that of the Slayers, and to master the remaining spells of Dragonic Magic

Other: He is a HUGE pyro
