"You didn't even let me speak to them," Sakura pointed out a groan. "Besides they don't have to beat you they just have to last five minutes." she then turned to Matthew, Freed and Elene. "So I will ask you all one question right now. Why do you want to join?"
Ellen pulled out her magnetic ball, preparing to create her electric grenade on the man who called himself Evan. She created a magnetic repulse to protect herself, but Sakura blocked them, making Ellen sigh in relief. She definitely wasn't prepared for that. "I joined because my powers could help people other than myself, and I need a place to belong. A guild would supply both of those," Ellen answered.
Matthew spoke first, and said "Well, initially I wanted to join for a few reasons: the first being to finally use my abilities for a consistently good cause other than comic mischief, and the others including to grow and to build a reputation as a bounty hunter."
"You guys do realize that you're risking your lives right?" Sakura pointed out before looking at Evan and then back at the group. "Evan, me and the rest of our group have faced various dangers ever since we created the Guild and truth is that once you become a Hunter you can't back down. In other words, you sell your life," she explained before walking closer to them and looking at them with an expression that reflected how serious she was about the matter. "Knowing that are you still willing to enter?"
Without giving a second thought to it, Ellen nodded. "Of course I am. I wouldn't waste your time. I have every intention of joining this guild. It's not just a thing about helping others, it's also about helping myself. I do, however, want to help others as well."
Sakura smiled while adjusting her glasses. "That's a good answer," she replied before looking at Evan. "I'll do her combat test you take care of the guys after they answer the question."
After listening to the others' responses, Siegfried answered immediately. "Because it's what's expected of us. If we have the power, we should use it, to the best of our respective ability. Doing otherwise would be a waste." He paused, before adding mostly to himself, "It would be a failure. And I'm willing to do anything to prevent that."
"Why are you telling me what to do?" Evan asks, looking annoyed. "I can give them all their tests like I said I would. Let's go." He says to the three, taking the stairs.
Ellen, realizing that she was in the middle of the two, quickly stepped out. In case things got serious, she did not want to have chainsaws thrown at her again.
Ellen pulled out one of her magnet balls again and shocked it. She pulled out the other two and stuck them in her other hand. Ellen nodded and prepared herself for the fight.
OOC: In case I didn't mention it before, she can shock anything just by her body, but she needs to be touching an electrically charged object to create her electric arc. Also, she only has three magnet balls, and if one is thrown, she will be able to magnetically recall it back to her.
Ellen repulsed the sickle, hoping it was metal. Meanwhile, she levitated backwards to put more space between them. She shocked all three magnets and levitated them above her hand, preparing to shoot them in an instant.
Sakura jumped back before holding her left hand out and causing another sickle to materialize. She held both of them together before jumping up into the air and throwing one of them; showing that they were both linked by a chain.
Ellen quickly rolled to the side, the sickle missing her by a millimeter. Ellen pulled out a simple lightbulb with a battery attached to it and drained the electricity. Ellen zapped the water tower nearest her, making it electrically charged. Ellen ran towards it.
