Jakku flinched as he was punched. His feet flickered, and he spun in midair, to push off the wall.
"Seriously Sakura, are they illusions, or what?"
He twisted, and slashed at both men, katana in hand.
"We were fighting in an illusion a few seconds ago,' Sakura replied. "All of the damage you caused was part of the illusion while everything they did was real."
"Jakku a PSY user doesn't even need to get close to you to attack and even less to put you in another illusion," Sakura warned as she helped Klay up from the floor.
Maggs dodged it, but the sickle continued, flying at the other man, hitting him in the eye. Light shot from it, as he screamed in agony and burnt to ash.
"You killed my brother!" Maggs roars, ripping himself away from Jakku's knives, in a frenzy, as his body swells, turning purple. He jumps at Sakura, a gigantic claw cleaving at her.
Sakura gasped as the claw cut her arm off. Suddenly her eyes shifted around as she glared at Maggs. Then the walls in front of Maggs shattered to reveal a ginning Sakuraa with her scythe right in fron of his neck. "When the sickle passed under you the illusion was triggered."
"You have to fool your friends if you want to fool your enemies," Sakura replied with a nod. "I created the illusion when I threw the sickle if it helps."
Maggs snarl of rage turned into a look of terror, as unable to stop his charge, his neck passed through her scythe, slicing it clean off. He slowly dissolved into dust, conveniently leaving behind a ring of keys that fit in the locked door that was totally always there.
"Hey look keys," Klay pointed out as he tried to get up, though the wound on his foot caused him to fall to his knee. Sakura walked over to the keys before grabbing them.
"Grey, help Klay up." Sakura said as she walked over to the door and put the key in. "Let's see where this leads to. Be ready just in case guys," she said as she turned the key.
The door lead to a ladder. Just as she opened the door, a figure scurried up, too fast to see, like a shadow and out of sight, to the room above, a beautiful indoor garden full of flowers and trees.
Grey helped Klay into a standing position and looked up into the darkness.
"Goddamn..." he whispered before helping Klay up the ladder, following after.
