So this picture has been spreading like wildfire across Twitter. I have to say, it does anger me that this distribution is exclusive to Japan. People have been making a point about how Shiny Jirachi has been blocked by Poké Transporter, making this more outrageous, but the odds of getting a Jirachi shiny off of the Pokémon Colosseum Bonus Disc were about as much as getti any Pokémon shiny, so this is essentially the first shiny Jirachi distribution.

What people are hoping and what I think may be true is that if the Pokémon people are flooded enough by this hashtag and picture that we may have a chance of an international release of this event. So get onto Twitter and tweet #BringJirachiOver!

Also, this probably won't work. I highly doubt you'll be able to change their minds considering this event is specifically designed for a Japanese cultural event, and in fact it's only being distributed to a specific area of Japan so some Japanese fans are getting left out of this too. Honestly, I think the lack of events internationally is a serious problem, but this is the wrong event to be complaining about. Now if it were something more significant like if we never got Diancie, then it would be a more worthwhile cause, but since it's just a bonus for a specific event in a specific part of Japan, it's not really a legitimate complaint and comes off as being entitled.

I don't know why this Jirachi is suddenly a big deal tbh. Where was the campaign to bring the shiny Genesect over here (which also had exclusive moves)? It seems like a waste of time and nothing but bias from the part of the fanbase who started this and support it. If you're going to campaign for one event to be brought over at least make the campaign for all future events to be shared and not just the ones you want.

Edit: I'll clarify my point: I don't see the point in campaigning solely for this Jirachi when there has been, and will be, events that don't/won't come over here. If you're going to campaign for something then it would make more sense to do it for more sharing of the events outside Japan in general, rather than this one single event.

I'd rather see all events be equalized everywhere not just this one, its the fair thing to do. I would love to have a shiny Jirachi though so #BringJirachiOver!

Siiiigh. I was pretty ticked off when I saw the "Japan only" part of the announcement. Bring Jirachi... heck, bring all events... overseas. Please.

Now that would've been more worthwhile. Shiny Genesect was a tie in with the 16th movie, so it's an event that should've been global. On top of that, Genesect was very poorly distributed in 5th gen, the only other way to get it was to buy BW2 in a very narrow launch window, so many people did not have the opportunity to get one.

This doesn't help their case with their attack on hacking and cloning. Maybe if they weren't fools in the first place we wouldn't have to hack things for ourselves because we were born on the wrong part of the world? The amount of cloned Shiny Genesects is ridiculous and all because they bloody well didn't release it to the rest of the world.

Not that I mind clones of course.

I'd get behind this, but I'm out an event Golurk--Juanita's was never released here, as far as I know--and an event Genesect. (Couldn't TRU have given out the shiny one?) I'd rather that all events were given out equally, rather than certain areas getting preferential treatment.
