Build a broken Pokémon!

Most things here got 550-600 bs and unused stats that go -5 just so another stat can go +175, undoubtly ranking crazy high above everything in that stat...
Just saying, Rampardos got crazy high 165 in attack, this doesn't make him broken, add 175 speed and an ability that makes him immune to damage and whoa no doubt we got a broken pokémon, without closer analysis.

Some ideas are interesting, though.

Spammurai
Type: Dark/Ghost
Ability: Wonder Guard
Base Stats: 10 HP, 120 Attack, 10 Defense, 100 Sp. Attack, 10 Sp. Defense, 150 Speed
Its massive Attack and Speed and its resistance to any Attack-type moves makes it prime to kill off anyone who even tries to inflict a status condition on it like Poison or a Burn.

A fast flying type with high attack with STAB Drill Peck.
That would probably be enough to kill it.
Dude, 140 base speed is no joke.
I dont think there is any non-scarfed flying poke who will outspeed it.
Remember a poke is considered broken when it has only a couple of counters.
Only a scarfed starapter has a small chance with a brave bird.
But i can always set up stealth rock or switch to something like magnezone to ruin any starapter or any flying poke for that matter

Looks like no one suggested this, so I am going to quickly swipe the chance to suggest it!

Name: Lazybug (portmanteau of Lazy and Ladybug)
Type: Bug / Psychic
Ability: Truant
Stats: 100 HP / 60 Atk / 78 Def / 92 SpAtk / 75 SpDef / 126 Speed (Total: 531)
Moves: Skill Swap, Entrainment, Protect, Substitute, Mean Look, Nasty Plot, Stored Power, Bug Buzz

Why Broken? Well, you can see that Lazybug has Swill Swap in its movepool, so you can pretty much guess that its role is to make the opponent fall under the same curse as it. Alternatively, you can go for Entrainment to ensure that you don't have to switch out to still pass Truant. 100 HP ensures that you can keep your Substitutes from Seismic Toss and Night Shade, and the decent defences increases survivability while you get your opponent to become lazy. It's even better if you obtain your opponent's Arena Trap or Shadow Tag, because you can set up on them! By taking advantage of the loafing turns, you can Protect of Substitute until you get enough boosts, which you can use to boost you power to high levels, and unleash fury with a powerful Stored Power attack!

Drawbacks: You get only one attack to use (assuming Skill Swap - Protect/Substitute - Nasty Plot), so it has to ideally be a Bug move, because there are none who are immune to it. If you are feeling lucky, you can even use a Psychic attack! Prankster Pokemon still pose some problems, because they are able to make the Pokemon lazy by Taunting it first, as with anything that is outright faster (only Aerodactyl, Crobat, Electrode and Deoxys can Taunt first).

I think I just created a "broken" Pokemon that isn't too broken. Is this what you are looking for, Topic Creator?

Thanks for reading.

We've got Durant as proof that putting Truant on opponents isn't very exciting.

Turn 1: Mean Look, you take damage
Turn 2: Load around, you take damage
Turn 3: Skill Swap, you take damage and faint, opponent switch next turn

or

Turn 1: Skill Swap
Turn 2: Opponent switch

...

Exactly what I wrote about in the post above. :bawl:

Worry Seed + Frenzy Plant. BOOM.
If that's your only proposed strategy (change ability + grass attack) then it pretty much fits the concept of broken

Ghost/Steel
Ability: Shadow Tag
180/5/150/5/150/5
-Power Split
-Perish Song
-Toxic/Gyro Ball
-Rest

Massive defensive spread, power split further cripples your opponent from attacking (in combination with its awesome typing) while possibly giving you a decent enough attack stat to do slow, but steady damage. Sure, a Taunt Pokemon can cripple it, but that's why you get the luxury of being able to switch into a Pokemon, effectively forcing everyone to have to use Taunt to stand a chance against it. Perish Song will kill anyone not having Batonpass-type moves or Roar/Whirlwind, while allowing you to escape last minute, and Toxic allows you to stall against those with Soundproof.

Currently the only Pokemon this thing can't switch into is Bastiodon, being that rare combination of a deaf steel-type, but what's it really going to do? You have two walls just waiting for the other to topple over first. Of course, if you find Shadow Tag to be a cheap ability:

Ghost/Steel
Ability: Levitate
180/5/150/5/150/5
-Power Split
-Gyro Ball/Soak
-Toxic
-Rest/Soak

Now everyone can be poisoned, this guy has four immunities, and awesome resistances.

When the opponent switches, you get to set up. Either a Substitute or Nasty Plot will give you the advantage. Since the Pokemon has a high Speed, you often get a chance to act safely or better, have the opponent face a stronger attack. This is assuming Skill Swap. If you got Flash Fire, that's one less weakness. If you got Shadow Tag or Arena Trap, the opponent didn't get to escape in the first place. If you got Magic Guard, that's awesome because no residual damage. Remember, when the opponent switches, you get a free turn to do something. Skill Swapping Truant is a bigger advantage than Entrainment (Durant can do this), because you get first-hand advantage, as you don't need to switch to gain advantage. If you give the sole survivor this ability, they can't be helped.

Name: Leebrugon
Type: Fighting/Dragon
Stats: 100hp/135 atk/90 def/50 sptk/ 90/spd/120 spe
Ability: Scrappy
Moves: Hi Jump Kick/Close combat/, Dragon Claw, Dragon dance/swords dance, Blaze Kick
Why is it broken?: Unstoppable stab combo, extremely high base power, blaze kick destroys bronzong and skarmory, the dances makes it a living chainsaw, no x4 weakness, ghosts can't stop it and it has decent staying power.

I guess so, kinda. I was looking for Pokémon who were as broken as possible without being too obviously broken.

Grass/Rock
Sand Stream
HP: 40
A: 60
D: 105
SpA: 95
SpD: 105
S: 35
Total: 440
Moves: Trick Room, Pain Split, Weather Ball, Giga Drain
Also: Leech Seed, Cotton Guard

It's a little bit of Dusknoir's role played by Cradily. Grass and Rock does a good job covering up for each others weak spots, pain split on low base HP creates a monster. :awww:

Type >> Steel / Ghost
Ability >> Thick Fat / Levitate
Stats >> HP 300 / ATK 10 / DEF 120 / SPATK 10 / SPDEF 100 / SPD 50
Moves >> Softboiled, Light Screen, Acupressure/Swords Dance/Quiver Dance/Nasty Plot, Baton Pass

It has a HP of up to 804 and a healing move for longevity, only 1 weakness and it can set up anything with baton pass.
