At one point, I considered building my own ultralight, but that's pretty expensive and I would probably have to fly it...

Sounds interesting, but yeah expensive and too tempting to actually fly it.

I've made my own kite with my father's help and flown it a few times as a kid. That's enough for me :)

Exams suck with a passion even though I need like 5 marks to pass out of like 50.
While I don't understand that marks system completely, I guess that's somewhat easy if you only really need to score 10%?
My exams suck too and I need to get at least 50% in each and every one.

Because I don't want to just pass. I want to destroy the exam and get the best mark as possible.

I've been through all sorts of grading scales during my time in the education system. The weirdest one was out of 7, and you only needed a 1 to pass.

Understandable, I do that too. Still surprised 10% is enough, though!

I've been through several. But nothing like that. It really sounds weird...

It's not worth 10%. It's worth 50%. I just need 5/50 to pass the subject because I stand at 45/50.

Oh, this makes much more sense. Congrats anyway, if you managed to get 45 already you'll probably get lots of them from the second half too! Good luck!

Here, you can pass with 20%, or fail with 90% (technically, you can fail with 100% in maths). This is because you need to have a mark in each criteria. If you don't get a mark in one section but ace everything else, you'll fail. And about the maths one, you can fail if you don't use your calculator (which is part of the curriculum).

I don't deserve congrats just for 45. That's nothing.

I see, I've seen similar systems where failing one section means you've failed it all :(
Well, many maths tests are extermely hard without a calculator anyway, glad they allow it.

Depends on the difficulty of the exam, of course.
But still, 90% is good!

Exams suck i mean I've never scored lower than 40% also i needed a 61% before and now a 73%. It also depends how much I studied. With 10 minutes of studying i haven't gotten lower than 80. With 1 hour I haven't gotten lower than 95.

But it is not 100%.
No human is perfect :)

Those are some easy exams for you, I guess. Elementary/Junior high school were like that for me as well. But high and especially university sure are much harder :(

I love university exams they're easy and hold more grade power. I don't do much homework so that means alot.

The only nice thing about university is that you have much less homework. But finals are worse.

I hate curve- and percentile-based grading systems. I don't like when my scores are so dependent on how everyone else has done. Screw those guys, let them succeed or fail on their own.
