Well, TV Tropes says that's the most handsome-looking version of Ganondorf...

Also, if Greninja is the most popular Pokémon in Japan...why was it nerfed heavily in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U?

I dunno, I guess some people don't bother reading names and just recognise posters based on their avatars, so if someone's constantly changing their's they get confused? Personally, I like coming on and seeing what new av you've got that day/week/whatever.

Yeah a lot of people tell me about the avatar thing. They wonder why I pick the ones I do but whatever.

Anyway yeah we can't change our usernames as much as the general user cause moderators and stuff like that. But I can't stand having the same avatar for a long time. It's feels like wearing the same clothes and that's so gross.

I don't read TV Tropes or care for it.

For the activity of BMGF, it seems like it is going downhill... I'm getting less alerts. Does anyone experience this too?

The one thing I like about forums over social media is that the posts have more impact as they stay around and it is easier to browse through lots of old posts. Navigating social media never felt as easy to me.

I don't do social media like at all. I only have a Facebook account because years ago someone I knew was like this:

her: Go make a Facebook account.
me: ... you know I'm never going to use that thing, right
her: I don't care. I need more people in my friends list. Go make an account.
me: *throws hands up into the air, makes account*

I check it at most once a day (sometimes only once a week because bleh) to keep up with people since most people in my life, and myself, are way too busy to spend hours on messenger/texting, and I hate phone calls. I myself post like maybe once every couple of months basically as a "hey I'm not actually dead" type of thing. I don't have a Twitter account, I don't know or care what Instagram and Reddit are, and there are apparently popular social media THINGS out there that I've never even heard of.

random friend: Hey, do you have (random social media THING)?
me: ... the fuck is that?

I have my Facebook on all the time and check for friend requests/messages/notifications because I keep in touch with some friends and have some important things I receive notifications from. I rarely browse the front page or make posts in my wall, though.

I don't do social media, I've never really seen the point of it myself.

I also like the fact that it annoys people who know me in real life that I don't have facebook. They don't like it that they can't be nosy about my private life or know what I'm doing every minute of the day. I'm a mystery to them and that's the way I like to keep it.

Forums on the other hand are different, it's nice to be able to contribute in a community about something I'm interested in without having to use my real life identity and share what I'm doing with half the world :)

Social media tends to be a bit of a waste for me since I dont have a lot of friends to keep up with. I barely ever post my own updates due to nothing to really talk about and mainly just repost others stuff. It gets a bit boring at times.

I feel like social media are a bit too vast for me to check everything each friend of mine posts, but at the same time I don't feel like I should be posting personal updates either. It's mostly useful for the random interesting thing I might notice and the messaging for me.

I do have an account on Facebook, but I currently only use it to post comments on sites I don't feel like creating an account for.

Except for the few times when I'm feeling nosy I don't really pay much attention to other people's posts on Facebook. Messenger is pretty handy though, it's the only reason I still have my account

FB, Insta and stuff are my go to. Without them I can't imagine not being in the loop. I need to be on the loop and the goss.
