Glad you make plans already. I do not have anything scheduled up yet, the plan supposedly is to save up (I am not one to spend much anyway), but a rainy day always comes eventually and the savings go down the drain. Someday...

I’m positively afflicted with wanderlust, haha, so I’m always thinking about places to go. But in the next few months especially, I think that I might actually be able to follow through on at least some of my desires.

For instance, I’ve been wanting to visit New York City again after not having been there for ages (for the uninitiated, I lived there for quite a bit of my childhood!). I haven’t been able to justify raising up the cash necessary to make such a trip, but once I find another stable job again, I expect to have plenty to spare. It would be a day trip, most likely, with me coming in by train overnight or something so that I can maximize the amount of sunlight that I have. There are many places that I’d love to see — including some places that I haven’t seen since I was little — but one that’s definitely on top of the shortlist is the One World Observatory. I’m old enough — and lucky enough — to say that I got to visit the outdoor observatory deck on top of the South Tower of the previous World Trade Center back when it was around, so I’m itching to be able to get that kind of experience again after so long, and after everything. (Although of course I would’ve preferred for it to be the South Tower again… don’t we all.)

Also, should I end up in the UK on a long-term basis in the near future, Paris is apparently just a relatively short train ride away.While I don’t think that I’d ride a plane there from the US and book a hotel or anything, a train ride could allow me to spend a day trip there on the weekend or something and then come right back with a day still left on the weekend to spare! That sounds like it would be fun! Especially if I can make it there during Olympics season… who knows, haha?

really nothing much, my schedule is a lot dryer than usual today.

Most Miku types have an actual music-related Pokemon for them... Dark-type is like nah here is my bodyguard instead, no paparazzi is gonna come too close, Obstruct! I like the vibe.

my favorite miku design is the electric one, she looks so fucking snazzy. i'm a bit disappointed with the ghost one since they didn't change her outfit much at all, but the glitchy hair is a fun touch to the disappearance of hatsune miku.

But why change it when just making "Miku but dead" is a raw concept already? (I'm biased because she's my fav, but-) I think it was clever imo.

But yesss, I love the glitchy hair being a nod to glitch pokemon and just framing her as a computer virus. I adore it a lot! Gonna be a rough choice between her and Dark-type for my fav ughghhh I love them.

I had an okay day today, the weather has been cold and rainy so I took a pleasant evening walk. I have a test coming up next week and I'm trying not to dread it hahah, I had to reschedule it twice due to being sick so I probably need to brush up on the subject again...

And I heard we were discussing the Mikus?? My favorites so far have been Ground (strong Sand Planet and Orre vibes imo) and Ghost (the glitchiness immediately reminded me of Missingno. using the Ghost sprite, plus I'm a big fan of her absolutely corpsy expression). I also liked Poison-type Miku, I think a lot of people didn't care for the maximalism of her design but she just looks so unhinged that I kinda have to love her lol.
I'm still very eager to see Steel-type Miku, but solely because it's my favorite type I know I'm gonna feel disappointed somehow

Steel Miku looks cute! All of the designs are pretty cool in my opinion. I like how they used various aesthetics!
The dark type is still my fave though... I just like the hat I used to wear similar sunhats back when I was able to leave the house without my earmuffs on (these fancy sunhats aren't wide enough D:
