I am glad Kuitaran is using X-Scissor though. One of the few interesting thing about it is it's slashing moves, and I am glad they are being showcased. Though I have to wonder why all the Enbuoh we had so far in the series had mainly STAB moves, not more wacky weird stuff like Scald or Wild Charge or Head Smash.
The animation looks off in some areas(like when Suwama throws Porky) but for the rest of the episode, especially for the battle, looks pretty sweet. This seems to be going to be easily one of Tomohiro Koyama's better episodes.
Also Shinji was pretty sadistic in earlier episodes, and in certain later battles, his sadistic nature came through at times. Biggest one was probably DP100 though, he pretty much made matching silly poses with Donkarasu like he was Harley or something(but animation of that comes from Sumomo's flashback from DP066). Of course, he never threw Pokémon around like they were rag dolls or anything though.
His eyes look less spectacular than I expected(just incomplete black circles was what I was expecting) though. But green eyes is still cool.
