Catch a range of Pokémon from the Kanto region next week in Pokémon GO's Adamant Time event, starting December 11th at 10:00am local time

The Adamant Time event, featuring Pokémon from the Kanto region, will be running in Pokémon GO next week from Monday December 11th at 10:00am local time, through to Friday December 15th at 8:00pm local time.

Event Bonuses and Activities
This event will feature a 3× XP for catching Pokémon bonus. PokéStop Showcases for Krabby, Vulpix, Ponyta, Voltorb, and Ditto will also be running throughout the event period at different PokéStops.

Timed Research
Event-themed Timed Research, as well as Timed Research focused on adding friends, will be available throughout the event. When these research tasks are completed, Trainers will earn Stardust and Ultra Balls, together with XP.

Seasonal Timed Research focused on catching up on XP and levelling up with also be available starting with this event. Trainers will receive items and Stardust for hitting the milestones of Level 10, Level 20, Level 30, and Level 40. Trainers can also automatically claim rewards for any milestones they have already reached as of the start of the event. All tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before December 31st, at 11:59pm local time.

Lucky Pokémon
The number of guaranteed Lucky Pokémon that a Trainer can receive in a trade has been increased from 15 to 25.

Additionally, as of this event, if a Pokémon that has been in a Trainer's Pokémon storage since 2018 is traded, this Pokémon is guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokémon (until the limit is reached). This change is permanent.
