I remember reading somewhere that the writers wanted to focus on Ash and Goh before moving onto Chloe, i just cant remember where. Any link to such an article would be appreciated. All the same, they really should have had her join them from the beginning

I think they wanted to give us bunch of Go episodes and a few Ash ones.

The equivalent of 3 gym episodes (including a rematch), a full team and an overhyped evolution with another one coming up... I wouldn't say that Ash got the short end of the stick. Go's goal focuses on quantity, hence why on a superficial level it might seem that he's getting more attention.

Actually Ash and Goh have equal amounts of focus.

Chloe becoming a main character is something I wished for since ep 2 when she dodged a fried Ash on the steps

I wonder if in the future there will be a plot point where she officially captures it. It’s already been established as being bonded with her the most out of the family and it’s not like it can’t be captured and still be the family pet. It just seems like the most obvious next step now that she’s a trainer as well.

Personally,I feel like Chloe may be a main after around JN055,as the recent episodes have been building more and more character development on her. JN055 looks like it would be a new episode that might solidify Chloe's role as a main (hell,just like at JN053's ending)
