Cloudflare Problem

I've been used this site for well over a decade and never had any problems but for the past few days I've been getting the bullshit cloudflare 'prove you're human' pop-up when it's never happened is something wrong the site?

As archaic has said, there’s a DDOS attack thing happening to the forums, so they’re using that to try and get rid of a bot. Once the bot is gone, I’m pretty sure things will be back to normal! (Why have I been sounding like a staff member lol…)

Yup, low level DDoS. Hopefully it’ll go away soon enough, or we’ll at least get enough info on the bots that we can devise a firewall rule to exclude them without excluding regular users. I have noticed hat people seem to get less of the challenges if they’re using Firefox (probably considered a statistically less likely user agent for bots by the firewall), but you’ll probably get at least one per session. Leaving a tab on the forums so the session stays active through your whole browser session probably isn’t a bad idea either.
