Combusken = pigeon?

It dawned on me one day, when my love for pigeons was beginning, that Combusken's head resembled the head of a pigeon. So I then took a sprite (which I cant find right now) and took it's head and used Pidgey's body.
Turned out exactly like a pigeon

So do you think it's just a coincidence or is Combusken based on both a chicken and a pigeon?

Only real difference is a slightly less-circular head on the chicken and a slightly flatter beak on the pigeon.

Not only that, but out there, there's cock boxing/fighting where they put money into watching two cocks (roosters) kill one another, they use their hind claws to tear at each other and peck each others' faces in with their strong beaks.

Hence why Combusken still gets to learn Peck and has large legs with Double kick and Blaze kick, Pidgeons aren't known to fight each other unless it's over food/mate which is very rare. Blaziken's face even resembles that of a rooster.
