~ Community Question of the Week ~ What would you change and why?

Hmm off the top of my head I guess most boring would be Black Widow or Winter Solider. Yeah they fight real good but they have the personality of cardboard. I also find characters that boast all the time about having morals and always doing the "right" thing are crazy boring.

Most of the superheroes in DC Comics aren't that great, but The Wooden Spoon award, in my opinion, has to go to Superman. He's way too cliche for me, I'm sorry.

Hey look! Piko is updating the question on time for once!

If you had to change your name, what would your new name be, and why would you choose that name??

It could be your Bulba username or your actual name!

It'd be either Noelle or Lenore! Probably Noelle since I've used that so much in video games as a stand-in for myself (stuff like Harvest Moon, The Sims, etc) that I think it'd be easy to get used to being called Noelle. And I think it's a really pretty name.

I'd probably change it to something typical Norwegian just to hear people mess up the pronunciation.

My current name is pretty international and I don't really like nor dislike it but it's not my favourite, lol. My mom loves it though, so I'm fine with keeping it.

Meh I like my name quite a bit so I haven't thought about different ones a whole lot. Maybe something really unique that you don't hardly hear like Persephone. I think its really pretty. Or maybe something I heard out of a video game would be cool too.

I go by my second name, which was going to be one of tradition before they decided that the adorable likes of I deserved better, and so it got changed to something new and radical that may or may not have something to do with Star Wars *cough* Not that they knew that at the time, because they had no idea what characters would be in it later *cough cough*

Ever heard ____ say your name in the cinema? Try not to rejoice too loudly.

My first name is exotic, religious and spurs seizures of jealousy wherever it is mentioned. Combine the two and people weep openly. But since they're mine so... bleugh. I am chronically discontent, and I want a cool screen name so I might get an alias later on. But that feels sort of disrespectful and cheap, so I'll just go foam at the mouth in that corner and die of frustration.

Anyway, I won't mention my names because I'm exceedingly private. But if I were to choose a new one... I'd go for something European, I think. I am very partial to the name of Petya, and Dasha and basically anything Russian. Then again, I think that Beedle Bumford is quite nice. Just think...

Starring: Daisy Ridley, Martin Freeman and Beedle Bumford.

And if I have kids, which is sounding like my worst nightmare at this point, I'd possibly call my son Valerian (not the film and comic, but from the tale of St. Cecilia).

Are we talking real names or usernames? For real names, I might want to change it to either Lucretia or Ramona. I really like those names. They just sound so elegant and sophisticated.

Name Change: Real name? Oh, there are so many... I'm so flighty about this sort of thing that I don't think I could remain with a consistent name, to be honest. The only consistent name I'd really keep is Arylett. So I'd probably just change it to my username if I really had to. (I've been Arylett since the dawn of time... which was somewhere in 2005.)

Bulba name: I wouldn't change it.

Actual name: My name is Agnes. It's old-fashioned, but I think it suits me. I don't think I would change it either, but if I had to, I would pick another 'A' name with a lot of history – maybe Antonia or Anthea, both of which I find really beautiful and striking. I can see myself as a Violet or Ursula too.

Hello OtB, MegaPod here to update CQotW for the first time and hopefully make that three-week wait worth it! This week’s question is:

What were some things you have done as a teenager that you consider embarrassing and wished you could change?

As for my answer...well, a lot of things, lol. One incident that comes to mind: I stuck some biscuits in the microwave and thought that five minutes was a reasonable time to heat them. And it was, if my goal was to completely destroy two biscuits while simultaneously making a DIY smoke machine out of the microwave. That burn smell probably lingered in the kitchen for weeks...

I went to a school dance and my mom came with me. She kept trying to get me to dance with someone and I did not like that which was embarrassing for me.

Another embarrassing moment for me is it was my first time taking a Computer Literacy class. My mom escorted me to class and she kept telling me to eat my apple sauce and drink my Capri Sun while class was in session where all the other students could see us and that was embarrassing.
