The Pokedex or whatever is probably like this:

It can't be exactly like that, though, since the face in both positions is completely flat - hence the slide and snap diagram I posted above.

Damn it, that sounds like a sports drink!

Quench your thirst with some Gator-rain!!

You saw all that art I posted throughout the thread, right?

I meant to say new art. =P Yeah, I've seen what you have posted. (And you usually post the good shit.) I love that the fans immediately pump out art for our eyes.

Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)

Hi.
i don't know if this has already being mentioned, but a lot of people were talking about Munna being referenced in gen 1 as if it already existed then. But I think that's wrong because the quote people were reading from.
In FRLG the girl outside rock tunnel doesn't say "The POKEMON here are so chunky! There should be a pink one with a floral pattern!", she actually says "The POKEMON here in the mountains are so chunky, I wish there were pink POKEMON with a floral pattern".
I know it's pretty much the same but perhaps it suggests that nintendo used this quote to invent munna.
sorry if this has already come up :)

The name is Coolcroc.

When your crocodile Pokemon has eyes that mimic sunglasses, there's no other possible name to give it.

As creative and thought provoking as that is...

That's all I think about when you say that x.x + I think they're meant to be night vision goggles hence the dark typing so let us agree to disagree here.

What a crock of cool.

Coolest croc under the pun, even.

Bulge + Pigeon = Bulgeon
I was expecting you to be the first to suggest 'Pudgeon'. Lettin' me down here, V! :p

And you know, I hope it's evolution is based on the bleeding heart dove. You can't have a bloodied pigeon pokemon and not name it something groan-worthy like 'Bludgeon'.

While I don't want to get off the topic of the thread right now, since it was shown on CoroCoro, it technically belongs in this thread.

When we were shown the trainer on the road with the truck, did anyone notice how the truck was driving on the right side of the road?

If the vehicle was driving on our right, that's normal...depending on where you live though. I know there's countries outside the US where they drive on the left side of the road, but I can't remember which ones.

Japan, for example

I looked back at the screenshot Hyatt, and the truck is on our left side of the road, not the right. Considering that these games are from Japan, then that's normal.

The truck is going towards the screen though

Edit: as such, it does ride on his right side of the road. This means the game does not take place in a Japan inspired location. And Hong Kong. NY and Shanghai remain a possibility.

Even though it's driving towards us, the viewers of the pic, it's still on our left side, not the right. When we look at the pic, it's basically the same view that we would be having if we were driving in countries like the US, where we drive on our right.

It's driving on the right side of the road, like in the US. Nice catch. Which side of the road do they drive on in China?

OK, you guys are starting to confusing me. When you mean "the right side of the road", do you mean "they're driving the right way if they're in the US or China"? Because there's a huge difference between the right/left way and our right/left way. If I was driving on that same road in the direction that I'm facing that picture, that truck would be oncoming traffic. Oncoming traffic in the US and other countries that drive similarily would always be on our left side, as in where your left hand should be... at least I hope that's where your left hand should be anyways. Once again, there's a huge difference when you say the left/right side and our left/right side.

I think the cars are on the right side because if you turn the boy around then the cars would be on his right.
Either that or my sense of direction is off...

Yeah that's right. It also depends on whether that road has two sides to it, or whether it's all one way. Cos then you'll never know until more pics are released.
But the chances are it has two sides of the road, but you never know.

Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)

Oh, one thing I thought of even though Zorua and Zoroark are event pokemon, they could still be found in the wild as regular pokemon too right? I mean Pikachu colored Pichu is an event pokemon but it's really only a glorified shiny, not something that can't be found through normal game means. Maybe the same is true for Zorua and Zoroark? These events are just special versions, while there might also be wild ones running around.

I hope this is the case at least, I dislike the idea of it being event only :/
