Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010)

Oh, one thing I thought of even though Zorua and Zoroark are event pokemon, they could still be found in the wild as regular pokemon too right? I mean Pikachu colored Pichu is an event pokemon but it's really only a glorified shiny, not something that can't be found through normal game means. Maybe the same is true for Zorua and Zoroark? These events are just special versions, while there might also be wild ones running around.
CoroCoro has specifically noted that neither Zoroa nor Zoroark will be normally obtainable. The event Zoroa and Zoroark don't even have special moves.

That was a nice theory four months ago, but it's been ruled out. The differences outweigh the similarities by far.

So, Zorua/Zoroark aren't available in normal gameplay? then I could care less about it. I don't want it :/

I hope they ARE available in the third version. It'll be too bad to not be normally available thoughout the whole generation despite being the one that started it all. It already is a bad, bad offender.

I don't see why they'd make a non legendary event only. Maybe getting an egg from a npc could fit under "not normal gameplay" since it's not like the majority of pokemon - just catching in the wild.

Please give it a rest. CoroCoro have nothing to gain by misleading their readers.

I'm still hoping that we will get a Zorua egg of some sort, because that would be a kick in the face if Zorua and Zoroark are event only Pokemon.

What would even be the point of the movie events if Zoroa and Zoroark turned out to be available by normal means? In case you hadn't noticed, the event Zoroa and Zoroark don't have special moves or coloration.

They did? Then why didn't anybody say so? Can anybody verify this? That's it, I want yaminokame NOW. I'm tired of this translation bull.

Compared to what? If this is the only zorua and zoroark we've seen how do we know they don't have special moves?

I'm annoyed as the next guy over the Zorua debacle, but I'll just wait for the third version, where I'm hoping it will be available by normal means.

If you'd bothered to stay on top of the updates, you would have noticed the following tidbit:

Zorua and Zoroark are event-exclusive Pokemon. They do not appear during normal gameplay, at least in Black and White. Therefore, you can only get the two if you preorder a ticket to The Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark and trade over one of the shiny Legendary Beasts (to encounter Zoroark) and if you download the movie Celebi from the theaters and trade it over (to get Zorua).

It has been confirmed that the event Zoroark will know Fury Swipes, Faint Attack, Scary Face and Taunt; Zoroa has Scratch, Leer, Pursuit and Fake Tears. If those moves are supposed to be special, then the "normal" Zoroa and Zoroark aren't really worth the hassle.

I'm not believing pokebeach. That was part of his rumor junk that he's been throwing around. If you want to believe it, fine, but don't act like it's the pokegospel, because it isn't.

This news unfortunately did not come from those rumors...look it up before making inaccurate statements.

I still want a second opinion. Coronis, yaminokame, pkwhatsthenumber, ANYONE. I will not believe the word of one site.

Who do you think translated that for WPM? Yaminokame, of course. If you want to hear it from the horse's mouth, be my guest.

Zoroa and Zoroark are event-exclusive as far as Black and White are concerned. Accept that fact and move on already.

my bad for having a job and you know.. A life. I've seen the updates but I don't read Japanese. And this was the first I've heard of them being event only. I feel like there's alot of bullshit getting spread around that we won't truly figure out until the games come out.

And unknown i'm not picking on you or this subject. There's still alot of speculation out there compared to the hard facts we have

That still says that it is still possible that either of the Zs could still be acquired by other means. It did not say this is the only way.
