Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: August 2010)

Munna's evo looks like a fetus. It's cute, but yeah, totally a fetus. Could it become a pink elephant after that? (Pink elephants, pink elephants on parade~)

I'm liking the bird but I'm not seeing how people connect it to America instantly. Red, blue, white? It's not the only country that uses those colours and there are eagles on other continents as well. Seriously people, you're just seeing what you want to see and it doesn't prove anything.

The fact that it has a different name isn't enough for you? I mean come on, different name=different Pokemon, always has been, and always will be. Extra form names excluded of course, but they don't change the name.
A different name is fine.

Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: August 2010)

Give me a break, I typed that very fast using a wii keyboard that misses out letters randomly. Especially "e".

Wonder if this dream smoke stuff will play a part in resolving the climax?

Ah, ok, sorry. ^_^

@Nova- Well, maybe it's just that there really aren't any American Pokemon. It'd be nice, in my opinion. You don't have to think that.

I'm guessing that you live somewhere else...

EDIT: So it looks like Dream Smoke has something to do with linking to the internet? o_O

Makomo sure has long hair. She kinda reminds me of Johanna.

So it's dream smoke on Mushaana, huh? My first thought was hookah pipe. >_>

Musharna looks cool. Too bad it has a hideous pre-evo. I still don't think I'll use it.

Really? Its a red, white and blue bird that bears a striking resemblance to a blad eagle, those are the most prominant symbols of America. Tied with the fact that issue looks a like NY, I'm thinking that these games are going to have an Ameican slant to them.

Also, I support the Mushama = evolution, not forme.

Munna was a blob with a weird nose, and a floral design, to be it didn't even look like anything (animal wise).

However the new Pokemon. it does actually look like an animal of sorts. Which means, evolution.

Regardless whether Wooguru is a American Pokemon is moot, it's still the most kick ass bird Pokemon, the only downside is, its apparently a normal/flying type.

Mushaana looks a lot like Drowzee. Could be a female counterpart, or something. It looks pretty nice nevertheless. But what looks really nice is Wargle! And I'm glad, because the shadow had great potential which was not wasted. A pretty simple and nice 'mon.

Also, what the hell is that large sprite on the middle of the second scan?!

YES, YES, YES, YES. A two turned seismic toss with encourage? I mean encourage is the one with the no flinching or recoil advantage correct?

What does Encourage do? I tried looking on bulbapedia but no luck there.

It boosts the power of attacks but negates any secondary effects (burn, flinch, etc.).

I think it is his nose. His eyes are covered with fur.

Also googled chipmunk=amazing.
