Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: July 2010 | Next Issue: August 2010)

I don't know if this is the right thread, but there are some more trademarks I found. I think these were filed on May 12, 2010 by Gamefreak.

There's the site for uploading your save and stuff. I don't know what the second one is, it reads "Raibukyasutaa". The third one is Pokemon PC Challenge. o.o

I found Live Caster before anyone else did! I was wrong about the connection to the Global Link, but I finally found something before anyone else did.

Pokebeach said:
In 3-on-3 battles, the placement and setup of your Pokemon will be important to the battle. Depending on who is in the middle and in the front of your party, the way attacks hit will change, so switching your Pokemon's positions based on battle strategy becomes the main point of triple battles.

This is going to be intriguing.

The TV thing is just a gimmick I'd never use. Good thing I decided not to get a DSi for whatever DSi exclusive feature we were to be given.

I think it is a great feature that makes wonderful use of the DSi's cameras. I hope that the feature will still be usable on the 3DS.

EDIT: I now realize how Gen V will make it's significant contribution to pokemon: through massive upgrading of the wireless functions.

How is she ignored? Didn't they have a section of text by her like all the other characters revealed?

So a better picture after searching for that video to take a screen cap: Remember this?

Yeah, ignored by the fandom.

I must wonder what the point of airplanes are in a world where a bird the size of a lamp can carry people from Cianwood City to Lavender Town.

Well the way I see it (read: WANT IT), there are two possibilities:

1 - The E4 is in a floating castle in the sky.
2 - The bad guys have a floating airship fortress and the plane takes you up there to stop them.

Also, unless that plane is really fucking long, it can hold approximately 10-15 people.

At most.

>_>

You notice how small the buildings look from the outside in the games?

Why are people still acting like this?

The buildings in Black and White are significantly more realistically sized than in the previous games.

If the same logic was applied to a pokemon center, there would only be enough room for ten people to be squished together.

CoroCoro just doesn't have the zing it has in the past cause it's now always information we already know. Very annoying. Back in the day CoroCoro got us new information.

Have you seen the houses in small towns? Not really. The cities obviously aren't up to real world scale, again, why do you expect a plane to be >_>

Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: August 2010)

Okay? Like I care if people like Game Freak are the gods of innovation when their promise of us thinking "Is this Pokemon" extends just exactly to what I thought: it's designs due to new staff. Something that happens every year, and we're supposed to froth at the mouth at their innovation.

Because you know, a massive change in design hasn't been attempted before. Oh wait. The design change from their current design style for Gen III/IV to Gen V is just as different as Gen I/II to gen III. The difference this time is people are buying this "innovation" crap rather than just going "ruined forever"

So? What's wrong with people actually liking their innovation this time? Guess we should all hate it then? It sucks when people have to criticize everything, even when a fan is satisfied with what they do. [email protected] hassled for actually liking the new changes their bringing in. No shit I expected it, but obviously a change can go either way; good or bad, and IMO it went good. It's not like I didn't expect them to change shit up, >_>...

Re: CoroCoro Discussion Thread (Current Issue: August 2010)

Well, the connection to the 3DS was somewhat speculation based on all of B/W's connection features and what we learned the 3DS can do. This pretty much confirms this game is intended to be used on the 3DS. We did already know there would be a DSi feature, though, we just didn't know what it was. Now we do. I just got lucky.

The Magnet Train in HG/SS was pretty much to scale.

This is GEN V, and that's an AIRPLANE.

AN. AIRPLANE.

@NeoKING and @Outrage: Just going to say this: Fans are hypocritical. They hate big innovation and change from a previous game and love the innovation brought to them by a new game.
