Whoa! I leave a couple of hours and suddenly there's 30 new pages. That's a lot, so excuse me if I don't add anything relevant to this discussion.
My main concern now is Isshu. For the first time I think it's not based off of any real-world place. New York? Hong Kong? Italy? Mars? Screw that! Each generation has less and less references to the real world, so maybe they finally ditched the 'real world' thing altogether and started making their own world maps, which, apart from being a nice change, would be way more creative and original. To me it looks a bit like a Zelda or Final Fantasy game map, with most of the map apparently visitable (unlike the previous regions, of which like 70% were trees covering unaccesible areas) and only a few cities in conttrast with the open field. Which I love by the way; although this makes me think that we'll get more of a storyline than the usual "beat gyms" plot. I don't see enough cities for a league, so maybe we're getting a Colosseum styled game?
The abilities... way to go!!! They sound a bit broken, but I'm sure there'll be some cost to them or a way to nerf them. I see Overconfident working only once (i.e. only raises Attack with the first Pokémon you faint, so your Attack only goes up one stage which is no big thing), for example, and so on.
So... to get Zoroark we need to transfer the shiny beasts and to get Zorua we need to transfer the movie Celebi? That's so unfair! I'd like to keep them in my SoulSilver version!
And the feature to upload your save file to the GTS and let people fight your uploaded party is just win. BEST.ONLINE.FEATURE.
Reshiram Dragon/Fire? Now I know which version I'll buy -Black Version of course.
I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the new Pokedex design could be a fairly strong hint in what to expect for the 3DS

He's talking about one of the earlier screen shots we got. there was an unfinished railroad track.
Yeah, I mentioned it waaaaay back.
But, after seeing this, I'm inclined to say we're probably wrong.
"Probably" being the key word, we'll know for sure come Tuesday.
Personally, I really think Isshu looks like New York City
Three areas of land, surrounded by water, and the Pokeball on the centre peninsula being Central Park

I don't know if someone already addressed this, but does Dr. Agregari (sp?)have a "tree" name.

Personally, I don't think so. While I acknowledge there are some similaritires, those aren't as striking as previous regions similarities with their real-life counterparts. That's why I don't eat it and until we get word of God to confirm it, I'll say it's an original map with no RW counterpart.
Come to think of it, if they were to base a region on the United States, New York City would make a lot of sense wouldn't it. Because that's where a lot of the special Pokemon events occur. It's where the dub is recorded (last time I checked), and there's a huge Nintendo store up there as well.
Well, huge is giving it a bit too much credit.
Also about the professor's name, Bulbapedia says Araragi could mean Yew or orchid, But Yew is more likely, even though it sounds weird, since it's a tree.
Does anyone think it's probable that Hihidaruma and Shimama might be version exclusives, because of the fire/electric theme going on?
