So this confirms Diancie is a Hoenn legendary and will probably be available in game. Odd that they're introducing new legendaries in a remake.

I doubt Diancie will be made available - after all, it will be given out at cinemas in Japan this summer. I'm guessing there will just be an in-game event where you can receive Diancie's Mega Stone by taking an event Diancie to a special area/person.

Sad though that OR/AS will not be remakes of Emerald. Serebii says the team you face depends on the game.

Despite Grass/Dragon being quite a double-edged sword in terms of how good of a type combo it is (off the top of my head, 4x Ice weakess, 4x Electric resistance, 4x Water resistance... that's a lot of 4xs!), I'm totally going the Treecko route just as I did in Emerald. Mega Sceptile is just so damn swank.

I really wanna see anime May in this new design now. :3 God, make it happen somehow, we don't need Iris and Cilan cameos.... ALSO! Nice that we get to actually see Brendan's hair this time!

For some reason I figured Volcanion would make a good fit for the story of RS, idk...

Also: Mega Diancie's ability is ??? for now, huh? if you ask me, that should be Mega Diancie making the ??? Type become a thing again.

I disagree, I think it will be made available in game. I think the Diancie event is just probably a promotional event leading up to OR/AS. I don't think they'd be promoting it in the issue for OR/AS if it wasn't going to be available for everyone.

Thoughts: In all honestly, I see no reason to complain about anything in these leaks. These images have done their job: get me excited.
Really, I'm just happy we're going back to Hoenn. All the Megas just look plain badass, I love it. You can really imagine M-Swampert just beating the crap out of anyone. And M-Sceptile? That thing's got the Luigi death stare down!
On the people, just happy to see everyone back. I like how we can see that Brendan's actually wearing a hat. Have the PCs aged? They look older than 10/11.
Steven's crown-cuff seem just a bit too impractical, but damn does he look classy. Like others, would have preferred Megagross to M-Charizard X.
Hmm. What else? Well, I don't know about you, but I'm really excited for the return of the Acro Bike

I love Mega Diancie a lot. I also like Mega Sceptile, pretty much solidofies my starter choice, Mega Swampert's ok.

As for character redesigns, I dont have that much opinion. Bendan and May look alright to me but still holding out for customization. Steven looks pretty good and glad to see he's Champion. Magma and Aqua's redesigns really stand out and are great to me. I dont have much opinion on Kyogre/Groudon's new mechanic. Im super pumped for this game now.

Awesome update! I'm most excited about the redesign of Team Aqua and Team Magma, as well as Swampert's and Sceptile's Mega-Evolutions. It doesn't really make my decision any easier, it's only really made it more difficult. Hopefully I can come to a decision by November. Also, I'm glad to see Steven making a return.

Also, because May isn't technically wearing a hat, is it possible that we can finally drop the hat? Eh? Maybe? I'm hopeful.

It will be available for everyone...who sees the movie when it's cinemas nationwide in Japan this July. It'll act as an extra incentive for people to see the movie, like how these games always have promotions like that:

Black/White - Zoroark
Black 2/White 2 - Keldeo Resolute Forme.

Why did they make Tabitha fat? I understand Matt being ripped but why is Tabitha fat? He was one of my favorite anime characters and he has enough to deal with because of the girl name but you're making him fat. Why he doesn't look like an enforcer anymore he looks like a fucking weasel.

It is not confirmed. Serebii just says "Steven Stone returns and also appears to have a Mega Charizard X". Considering Steven is a Rock/Steel type specialist it does seem strange that he would have a Charizard. Also has anyone figured out what the Mega Bangle looks like?

With Brendan/May back as players and Magma/Aqua too I guess that's enough proof for me to give up the idea of this being more than a remake... still excited for it though! and I do think it might be a heavily modified remake, unlike FRLG/HGSS which mostly stayed true to the originals (we're already getting some serious redesigns for the Magma/Aqua people + the new forms for Groudon/Kyogre would definitely be some new plot points, and there's mega evolution and Steven's involvement with it too)

Ugh soooo good! Outside of the frills on may the protags are solid.
Brain vs brawn subtheme is pretty cool. But aquas redesign is much better than magmas.
Mega swampert is easily the best one, and swift swim delivers.
Hoenn not being here sucks though. Maybe at E3?

The scans only seem to mention that Steven is also after the mystery of Mega Evolution (next to the Charizard pic), so chances are, it's not his but someone elses. They probably used Mega Charizard because it's the most easily recognizable Mega-evolved form - and also the most iconic.

I'm hoping Mega Metagross appears If not, Mega Aggron is still cool. It evolves into a pure Steel type anyways, so it still fits with Steven's theme.

I'm gonna hold out on this being real. Corocoro doesn't hit until the 15th normally. Its the 8th in Japan now. No way this can be real. And just BSing and giving Steven M-CharX and not waiting to reveal M-Metagross? Total BS.
