Could be the Egg for Cosmog?

Hi everyone, this is a new, and nice thread call Could be the Egg for Cosmog?

Firstly Reason, Ash, Pikachu, Ash's Mother, and Mister Mime all of the four take an Egg from Oak Number One who is the Proffesor Oak in Kanto to Oak Number two who live in Alola who is the Principle of the Pokemon School.

Secondly, in the opening who Mica the singer will say "Soko de kimeru getto daze", in that time there is an event for Lillie getting the Egg

So do you think the Egg for the Cosmog?

The opening also "implied" that Ash was going to catch a Grubbin, or so some people say, but that hasn't happened, at least so far. The egg Samson Oak has is most likely a Vulpix. There is a Vulpix on the official poster for the series and the egg looks exactly the same as the Vulpix egg that was shown in the Advanced Generation series. So, if the opening is saying that she will get a different coloured egg, then it seems that she might be getting two Pokémon eggs.

I'm guessing that it's for Alolan Vulpix, since one of the posters showed Lillie with one.

Also, I have a feeling that the Cosmog plot could either be in 2017's movie about Solgato and Lunala, or be in a future arc in the main anime. I don't think we'll be seeing Cosmog too soon because the current Pokémon School arc wouldn't really fit with its story.

Except it's not though, it looks just like a Vulpix egg.

I think the egg is a normal vulpix egg and it will become an alola vulpix egg sometime throughout the series be cause of climate changes or something. Then team rocket tries to steal it but at the last moment fails misersbly, the egg is falling down, Lillie catches it, it hatches, think Lillie is it's mother and helps her get over her fear of touching pokemon. That is how I picture it happen.

I think grubbin will be like dawn's buneary. Ash will fail to catch it 3-4 times but then he manages to get it.

I'm 99% sure the egg is a Vulpix egg. It was brownish red when it was given to Ash and Delia in Kanto and appears white in the opening in Alola, the same colors as Vulpix and its Alolan counterpart. Plus Lillie has been shown with an Alolan Vulpix near her in 2 posters. I can't imagine it being anything else at this point.

I don't think it could be Cosmog. It would just be odd if it came from Professor Oak.

Alternatively, although I don't know jack squat about egg appearances, the Vulpix idea sounds plausible. Professor Oak sends a Vulpix egg, originally from Kanto, to his cousin in Alola to see if its being there will cause it to be the Alolan form or if its origins will cause it to be the regular form.

The egg looks to be kind of pinkish to me.

Here's what a Vulpix egg looks like over 11 years ago.

Just by looking at the two screenshots, it's most deffenately a Vulpix egg. We don't know if the egg that Lilli gets is the same one that Ash brought to Alola from Kanto and it changed color, or it's a different egg. Or the egg will never be seen again and the writers needed a reason and a way to get Ash to Alola.

But it's most likely a Vulpix. I don't see why else there is a Vulpix with Lillie in the official series poster, why it looks exactly like a Vulpix egg and why Lillie was holding an egg in the opening.

I feel as though it'll change colour before hatching. Changing into white/light blue and hatch into an Alolan Vulpix.

The episode description says the students have an assignment to look after an egg. So every pair of students gets an Egg to look after right? It just happens that Lillie's egg hatches.

Maybe one of the eggs given is the Oak egg, but for now it's not eve confirmed.

Aaaaan whatever egg it is, it's an Alolan Vulpix, the posted spoiled that before the anime even began.
