Courtney Spotlight Scout

As a tie-in to the Hoenn Chapter of the Villain Arc, this spotlight scout offers players an opportunity to scout Courtney, who is making their Pokémon Masters EX debut in a sync pair together with Camerupt. This new sync pair has an expanded sync grid, and the ability to be raised to 6★ EX. Raising the Sync Pair to a 6★ EX will change Courtney's outfit to a White and Red design.

Courtney and Camerupt are a Ground Type Tech Sync Pair. Their Ground Wish Moves provides Ground Types a significant boost to Ground type Sync Pairs Attacks, their Sync Move will cause the Pokémon to Mega Evolve. Additionally, their Passive Skills can lower opponents Defense stat.

In addition to the regular Spotlight Scout, Trainers can also take advantage of a Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3!, a special Sync Pair Scout requiring paid gems, that, as the name implies, can be used up to 3 times. Players will receive a 50% discount on their first Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout, making it 1,500 Gems rather than the usual 3,000. As an added bonus, players will also receive bonus items every time they do a Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout. The bonuses that are received are as follows.

1st Time (50% off)
  • Custom ★ Power Up for Courtney & Camerupt x5
  • Custom Sync Orb for Courtney & Camerupt x200
2nd Time
  • Custom ★ Power Up for Courtney & Camerupt x5
  • Custom Sync Orb for Courtney & Camerupt x200
3rd Time

  • Custom Sync Orb for Courtney & Camerupt x200
  • 5★ Master Scout Ticket Y x1
The 5★ Master Scout Ticket X allows Trainers to use the Courtney Guarenteed Ticket Scout, ensuring they scout this popular member of Team Magma.

Both the Spotlight Scout and Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3! will be available until August 27th, at 10:59pm (PT). The associated Ticket Scout will be available until September 3rd, at 10:59pm (PT).

Legendary Arena: Cabalion
A powerful opponent arrives as Cabalion returns to the Legendary Arena. In the Legendary Arena, trainers must complete a set of challenges using up to 30 sync pairs. New event missions have been added for this re-run of the event, offering trainers an opportunity to earn an additional 1,000 gems by completing specific challenges. The Legendary Arena is open right now, and can be challenged up until August 18th, at 10:59pm (PT). Cabalion was last available in the Legendary Arena in May 2022.

Cabalion is a Steel-type opponent that is weak to Fire-type moves, but is resistant to all damage thanks to the Healthy Advantage 8 passive skill. This protection can be negated by inflicting Cobalion with a status condition, although its resistance to any status condition increases each time Cobalion recovers from one, until it becomes immune. Cobalion can deal significant damage with its combination of powerful Steel- and Fighting-type attacks, and can also lower ally Sync Pair Defense.

As with all Legendary Arenas, players must have passed Chapter 2: Defeat Team Break in the main story on normal mode in order to participate in this event.
