Crazy Comparisons

Fraxure, both are middle forms of Pokemon that seem pseudo legendary (three stage, late obtainability, slightly high evolution levels, some important Trainer uses the final form as their signature) but are not

Ivysaur (both are middle evolution Pokemon owned by main characters of the anime who we see in their base form and final evolved form but never in the middle evolution fleshwise)

Mareep, both are monotype and stay so after two evolutions but add Dragon as Mega

Rhyhorn, their Pokedex numbers is three times the digit of the generation they debuted in

Seismitoad, both are final stages of three stage evolutionary lines that follow a similar naming convention, the base form ends in something completely different while the next two forms both end in the kind of animal they are supposed to be (swine/toad)

Kakuna, both are middle stage forms of an insect like Pokemon incapable of flight at the first stage but capable by the end, with strange stat distributions that tend to result in lower CP in Pokemon GO after evolution
