Damage formula/calculation

Hi all

First, I hope this is the correct place to post this, and sorry if it has been asked before.

I would like an answer/explanation to something that has been bothering me.

On the Bulbapedia page about Damage, they give an example of a Glaceon attacking a Garchomp with Ice Fang.
Using the formula, the answer I get for a Max non-crit hit is 198, but their answer is 196.
Is there something I am missing?

I got the same result, and apparently the formula isn't written appropriately and the result is 196. It's vaguely explained here and here .
