Naruto was a quick and fearless ninja. His skills have made him defeat many enemies, and his ninja skills in particular made him a tough target to pin down. Being the Ultimate Ninja made him an incredibly hard target of Despair to find and eliminate, and the only way to beat an Ultimate talent was to use another Ultimate's talent against them. The Ultimate Special Agent eventually found Naruto, proved that he was Despair, and then used his smarts to trap Naruto and end him.

You've fallen to despair from losing your friends and failing as a Hokage. This crippled your self-esteem and confidence in your abilities that it drove you insane. You believed you could beat everything, but unfortunately, you found it all to difficult to bear and thus you have been manipulated. It's unfair for only you to feel this despair, thus nobody must have hope!
You are the Ultimate Ninja. Having won the Fourth Shinobu World War has awarded you with this title, beating many enemies and adversaries to prove your worth.

Let a certain random player live past Night 3.
The player that must not live past Night 3 is Zexy. If Zexy is still alive during Day 4, you will die.

It was FINALLY all over... Now with the Despair gone, Hope's Peak Academy can be restored to its former glory and restore balance in the world with the Hope it brings. The bracelets of the last remaining Hope were automatically removed, likely because the game was now over. The door to the exit opened, and the Hope left to change the world in their ways.
Katsurugi Keima made it out alive, beating the Despair, even if he didn't end up doing much until the end. "Of course, I only said so little so I wouldn't be a target, and thus help save the day in the end. All the other Hope were just stepping stones for me to have a character arc to feel a bit sad over, then get tired of, and finally won." He was also happy with the thought that now that he's a living legend, that he'll finally have a real waifu now instead of a 2D one.

An otaku who loved fictional waifus. You find comfort in romancing waifus, and wish to find the best waifu there is with the best love. 2D waifus are the best ones, while 3D waifus, aka, real waifus, are not up your alley and make you grow disinterested.
With the Despair being inflicted upon the world, you seek to become a hero to prove your worth. Maybe you will make the Despair itself fall in love with you, and thus become part of Hope. The title of "Hero of Hope" is just too hard to pass up, giving you more determination to destroy the Despair in the world.
You are the Ultimate God of Conquest. With your skills at getting fictional girls in video games you can easily score many chicks to make love to. You know what to do to hit their good spots, considering that you are used to all types of potential characters that the girls may have.
Forbidden Action:
With the Despair being inflicted upon the world, you seek to become a hero to prove your worth. Maybe you will make the Despair itself fall in love with you, and thus become part of Hope. The title of "Hero of Hope" is just too hard to pass up, giving you more determination to destroy the Despair in the world.

Elementar has defeated the Despair! He has won in Endgame!
Francis York Morgan's job was finally over. His Ultimate Special Agent talent was an immense threat to the Despair, and he only believes he wasn't targeted sooner because of his Forbidden Action only allowing him to gabble when speaking. While it was an unfortunate Forbidden Action to have, it did bring its own fortune, in a way. Francis was not a man that flaunted his talent that much, but it was there, making him a definite power player in the game to solve who all the Despair were and defeating them all. His potential was immense, just not many recognized it, either because they thought they were better, or because it was made a bigger deal of than it actually was.
And so the incredible Hope's Peak Academy saga came to an end...
Despair itself wasn't completely eliminated, but that was an impossibility from the very beginning.
No one has seen the future.
We’re always heading into a cloudy, ashen sky.
Hope and despair are mixed.
And we don’t know which is which.
That is a very scary thing.
But if you just wait, nothing will change.
We must take one step at a time.
Into a future where we don’t know what will happen.
Thinking of those we love….

And think to ourselves that tomorrow will surely be a good day.

With the world in despair, it is up to you solve all the mysteries and find a way to eliminate the Despair. Once the root of evil has been eliminated, it is only natural for the rest of it to wither away. Logical decisions and belief in them will be what you believe will lead you to defeat the Despair.
