Non-Mafia Defeat the Boss - Pokemon: Kanto

Lemme calculate... at 20 def, Quick Attack shuld deal either 6 or 12 damage to Mankey. This leaves him with at most 6 HP, so Thundershock/Tackle won't kill him, instead leaving him barely alive...
Okay, so whichever of you wants to capture him should move last, throwing pokeball, while the other one should either Tackle or Thundershock him. Of course we're assuming here that Quick Attack will deal double damage, but even without it it still gives us a pretty good capture chance.

So, shouldn't Beat and Bensen have gained some EXP as well? Did you just forget to list them in the results?
Bensen, yes. Beat won't because pokemon aren't gaining experience in the battle they are captured.

Boxed pokemon won't be mentioned in rewards posts, and will level up pretty much the same way the day care works in most generations of the game.

Wait, so they might learn moves without my input?

Would it be possible for you to tell us when a boxed Pokemon tries to learn a move and let us decide like the ones in our parties? Because having them change in ways we don't want would likely get seriously annoying.

I can certainly do that.

I meant more along the lines of: They won't evolve, and will gain XP at a reduced rate, and you won't know if they are gaining levels until you check the daycare (Or the box in this case), but I can certainly let you choose what moves to replace.
