I... do not know. Let me discuss it with my MoD and I'll get back to you.
I personally wouldn't mind that.
If you want to give it a bit of a challenge where they have to earn the trade then I'd say they have to give something in return.

I'll leave that up to you though. I'm fine with either. Feel free to also give your input on this @players

It's workable either way, it just becomes more convenient so we don't have to head backwards to get Cheff into a less dangerous route so he can catch things if we can just give him a buffer right away.

I'd like to point out that you guys can weaken a pokemon for Cheff to capture, and protect his Ralts so he can capture it. :p

EDIT: Also, most wild Pokemon are between levels 8 and 15 on Route 25 (Which is just past Nugget Bridge)

I'll replace Redguard with Gesundheit for now. It seems he could really use a bit of leveling.
As for trading... works either way for me and... well, I don't really know.

Also, I'd like to buy 5 Pokéballs (200x5 = 1000P)
2 Antidotes (100x2 = 200P)
1 Paralyse Heal (200P)
1 Awakening (250P)
1 Burn Heal (250P)
3 Potions (300x3 = 900P)

Total of 2800/3000P used
Done

Done

Also, AE, can a Pokemon be gifted with nothing in return? Or does their need to be a Pokemon to exchange with?
Alright... I'm going to allow this, once... But trades in the future will need to be trades, and not gifts.

Alright then Cheff, Beedrill or Mankey?

Also will I need to take the Pokemon out or can it just be done straight from the box?

Our heroes move to Route 24, but there is nothing left to do on Nugget Bridge, so they immediately move to route 25.

Choices:
  1. Search for items
  2. Search for Wild Pokemon
  3. Face next trainer
  4. Return to Cerulean City

Since there are different encounter rates between the two routes, I'll grant this.

Previous post is invalidated.

You are now on Route 24.

Choices
  1. Search for items
  2. Search for Pokemon
  3. Go to Route 25
  4. Return to Cerulean City

Oh, I need to make this part clear, but enemy maximums are always equal to your maximums.

Because Cheff joined the game, you guys now have a maximum of 4 active pokemon at a time, and 12 pokemon max... and so does the enemy.

Naturally, encountering enemies with 12 pokemon is going to be rare, but it can happen.
