...After quick calculations I realise that it wasn't actually the best idea, but alright, let's go with it.
A quick question about damage calculation... how is it rounded? Assuming for example that we lower that Zorua's def to 0%, will it take 2,5 hp damage from our attacks (meaning it's not rounded), 3 damage (rounded up) or 2 damage (rounded down)?

Don’t currently have an answer for you on rounding. I’ll ask my mod for his input and get back to you.

Rounding will always be done up.

Rounding will always be done up.

Just changing this policy slightly. Rounding will always be up if it is .5 or higher. .49 and below will cause it to round to down.

In the example @Acrobatic Crobat gave earlier, it'll round up... but 2.4 will round to 2.

However, defense calculations can't be reduced below 1 unless they specifically come to 0.

Since this is your first battle, and Red, Blue, Yellow, and the remakes count it as a tutorial battle, I'll give you this tip. Tail Whip on the Zorua won't have any effect until you reach 0% defence

According to my calculations (TM) unless he has some really powerful (or at least stronger than Scratch) attack that he didn't use yet, if we just spam our basic attacks for next two turns, there's no way he'll knock any of us out. Unless he crits Pika, then it's 2HKO.
