Delibird will be appearing in 1-star through 5-star Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet between December 23rd at 00:00 UTC and December 25th at 23:59 UTC. Delibird will be available in a wide array of Tera Types, including rare Tera Types for the species. Additionally, a limited-time distribution of 50 Ice Tera Shards was also announced in the latest Poké Portal News.

To encounter Delibird in Tera Raid Battles, players will need to download the latest Poké Portal News. If players have connected their Nintendo Switch system to the internet while playing Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, this will happen automatically. Players can also manually download the Poké Portal News by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, and then selecting Mystery Gift, and then Check Poké Portal News. After that, players will be able to start a Tera Raid Battle simply by walking up to and interacting with an appropriate Tera Crystal in-game. In the overworld, the Tera Crystals associated with these raids can be differentiated from other Tera Raid crystals by their aura. This aura is also clearly visible when looking at crystals on the map.

Until December 26th at 23:59UTC, players will also be able to receive a gift of 50 Ice Tera Shards via Mystery Gift. After beating the Medali Gym, players can use these Tera Shards to change their Pokémon's Tera Type to Ice by exchanging the 50 Tera Shards with the chef at the Treasure Eatery

Players can receive this gift by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, and then selecting Mystery Gift, and then Get with Code/Password. Players will then need to enter the code 「HAPPYH0L1DAYS」at the prompt after the game has connected to the internet.

A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other Trainers online, however this membership is not required to receive code distributions.
