Pokémon GO Fest Seattle.jpgNiantic has announced details for the in-person Pokémon GO Fest 2022 event that will be held in Seattle, Washington; the Seattle Center Park and the city of Seattle, from July 22nd to July 24th. During the event dates, all Trainers in Seattle will have access to special Pokémon GO Fest 2022 raids, including Cresselia and Darkrai in five-star raids.

This event will be split into two sessions; the Morning session and Afternoon session. Trainers who purchase a ticket can choose which part of the day and location they like to experience in each session.
  • A ticket for the morning session offers the event experience within the Seattle Center Park from 9:00am to 1:30pm, and the city event experience from 2:30pm to 7:00pm local time.
  • A ticket for the afternoon session offers the city event experience from 9:00am to 1:30pm, and the park event experience from 2:30pm to 7:00pm local time.
Please note: Only Trainers with a valid ticket for the applicable session will be able to play within Seattle Center Park. There will be a one-hour intermission between sessions to allow Trainers time to move between areas.

During the citywide event experience, ticket-holding Trainers will experience event-exclusive gameplay in downtown Seattle. Event gameplay will not be available to ticket-holding Trainers outside Seattle.

For ticket holders only
Seattle Center Park experience

There will be four real-world habitats (two of which are unique to the Seattle event). Each habitat will have its very own Collection Challenge. The following Pokémon will be in each habitat:
  • Cloud Sanctuary: Togetic, Woobat, Rufflet, and more.
  • The Oasis: Alolan Exeggutor, Sand Cloak Burmy, Gible, Panpour, and more.
  • Dreamy Mindscape: Drowzee, Teddiursa, Snorlax, Litwick, and more.
  • Electric Garden: Hisuian Voltorb, Combee, Foongus, Helioptile, and more.
Shiny Combee and Shiny Panpour will make their Pokémon GO debuts during this event.

Event-exclusive Special Research will be available, with trainers who complete them being able to encounter the Mythical Pokémon Sky Forme Shaymin. Trainers will also be able to meet and trade with each other at the Trading Post, with the ability to make up to six Special Trades, as well as enjoying a reduced Stardust cost for every trade made in the park. Trainers can also battle with each other at the Battle Ground, and take advantage of a plethora of in-person photo ops, including the chance to take a photo with Pikachu or Eevee. A special version of the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 T-shirt will be available for sale exclusively at this and other in-person Pokémon GO Fest 2022 events.

Citywide event experience within downtown Seattle
Pokémon from the four habitats in the park will be appearing in the wild, and a second Special Research story will be available, featuring a reward encounter with a Pokémon that has yet to appear in Pokémon GO. Trainers will also be able to claim up to nine total daily Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. Finally, Team GO Rocket balloons will be appearing more often, and defeating Team GO Rocket Grunts will reward twice as many Mysterious Components.

Both the city and park event experiences
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available for both the city and park experiences, while Trainers who take a snapshot at the event will also have a surprise encounter. Eggs will require one-half their normal Hatch Distance, and event-themed stickers will also be available by spinning PokéStops and opening Gifts. Confetti will be appearing on the in-game map.

Trainers are only allowed to purchase ticket for one out of the three-days at the event. The event experience will be available only at the Seattle Center Park and the city of Seattle, on the specified date and time shown on the ticket purchased.
