Details of Pokémon Air Adventures global event announced

Niantic has announced details of the Pokémon Air Adventures and Pokémon GO collaboration global event, which is running in conjuction with the Okinawa-exclusive event announced at the beginning of this month. Mega Latios and Mega Latias will be making their Pokémon GO debuts in Mega Raids during this global event, which will run from May 3th, at 10:00 a.m. to May 8th, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

The following Pokémon will be appearing in the wild during this event:

• Flying Pikachu ⁂
• Jigglypuff ⁂
• Meowth ⁂
• Psyduck ⁂
• Doduo ⁂
• Magikarp ⁂
• Wingull ⁂
• Swablu ⁂
• Drifloon ⁂
• Charizard (rare) ⁂
• Mantine (rare) ⁂

Additionally, the following Pokémon will be appearing in raids:

• Three-Star Raids
  • Charizard ⁂
  • Lapras ⁂
  • Togekiss
• Mega Raids
  • Mega Latias w/ Mist Ball (Trainer Battles: 120 power, with a chance to lower the opposing Pokémon's Attack; Gyms and raids: 105 power)
  • Mega Latios w/ Luster Purge (Trainer Battles: 120 power, with a chance to lower the opposing Pokémon's Defense; Gyms and raids: 100 power)

The following Pokémon will hatch from 7 km Eggs:

• Togepi ⁂
• Mantyke
• Emolga
• Noibat

Additionally, all Eggs that are placed in an Incubator during the event period will hatch at 1/2 the regular Egg Hatch Distance.

When Field Research tasks are completed, players will be able to encounter the following Pokémon:

• Flying Pikachu ⁂
• Doduo ⁂
• Swablu ⁂
• Emolga

Timed Research focused on catching Pikachu and Flying-type Pokémon will be available throughout the event. Players who complete the Timed Research will receive 50 Latias Mega Energy, 50 Latios Mega Energy, 3,000 XP, and an encounter with Flying Pikachu.

Event-themed stickers will also be available for purchase from the in-game shop during the event.
