Details on Pokémon UNITE's August 18 update

TiMi Studio Group, the developers of Pokémon UNITE, have announced that an update will be coming to the game this Wednesday August 18 following a planned server update at 7:00 AM UTC, with changes and bug fixes being made to some Pokémon stats and moves, as well as to several Battle Items. As previously reported, this update will also see the introduction of Blissey into the game.

As with the previous update earlier this month, the developers have sadly not provided any numerical values for any of these buffs and nerfs in the official changelog, nor any specifics about exactly what bugs might have been fixed. As such, until these go live we can only guess at how significantly they might impact on actual gameplay.

Crustle
Stealth Rock:
  • Cooldown reduced.
  • Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.

  • Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.

Garchomp
Movement speed changed.

Bulldoze:
  • Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.
Dragon Rush:
  • Cooldown reduced.

Slowbro
Surf:
  • Duration of effects on opposing Pokémon decreased.
Scald:
  • Bug Fixes
  • Damage dealt to opposing Pokémon increased.

Snorlax
