Details released for activities and events in Pokémon GO in November 2021

Niantic has released details on a range of upcoming activities and events in Pokémon GO during the month of November. These events will take place between Monday, November 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) to Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).

Research Breakthrough encounters
Vullaby can be encountered in Research Breakthrough encounters after completing seven days of Field Research tasks.

Pokémon Spotlight Hours
Taking place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, these Pokémon and special bonuses will be featured:

• November 2: Cacnea | 2× Catch Candy
• November 9: Chinchou | 2× Transfer Candy
• November 16: Turtwig | 2× Catch Stardust
• November 23: Chimchar | 2× Catch XP
• November 30: Piplup | 2× Catch Candy

Featured Pokémon in raids
Raid rotations all start and end at 10:00 a.m. local time on the dates listed.
The following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids in November:

• The Mythical Pokémon Darkrai that knows the attack Sludge Bomb will be appearing until Friday, November 5, 2021.
• The three main Swords of Justice members Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion that know the attack Sacred Sword will be appearing from Friday, November 5, 2021 to Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
• Cresselia will be appearing from Tuesday, November 16, 2021 to Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

If you're lucky, these Pokémon may appear in their Shiny variant.

Every Wednesday, a Raid Hour event will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, featuring Pokémon that appear in the above timeframe.

In addition, the following Mega-Evolved Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids.
Raid rotations all start and end at 10:00 a.m. local time on the dates listed.

• Mega Absol will be appearing until Friday, November 5, 2021.
• Mega Manectric will be appearing from Friday, November 5, 2021 to Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
• Mega Lopunny will be appearing from Tuesday, November 16, 2021 to Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

If you're lucky, these Pokémon may appear in their Shiny variant.

Weekly 1 PokéCoin bundles
Every Monday in November, a one-time-purchase bundle containing a Remote Raid Pass and other items will be available in the shop for 1 PokéCoin.

Upcoming events
Several events are also announced for November. Stay tuned for details about these upcoming events.

• November Community Day: On Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, a Community Day event featuring Shinx, the Flash Pokémon will take place, where Shinx will be appearing more frequently in the wild. Evolve Luxio during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Luxray that knows the Charged Attack Psychic Fangs.
• Festival of Lights: From November 5, 2021, to November 14, 2021, it's time to celebrate light overcoming darkness with an all-new event (Deepavali).
• Día de Muertos: From November 1, 2021, to November 2, 2021, celebrate the Día de Muertos with a special event for Trainers around the world.
• Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Celebration Event: Celebrate the launch of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl with a special event from November 16, 2021, to November 21, 2021.
• ???: The Season of Mischief will close out with an epic event. From November 26, 2021, to November 29, 2021, Trainers who completed the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research story will be able to unlock a Special Research story where Trainers will have an opportunity to learn more about Hoopa.
