The chosen twenty had gathered before Dialga, and were prepared to fight of the very fate of their realty. It was obvious enough that there was no room for error here. Each trainer was poised for battle, their chosen partner standing firmly by their side. Dialga looked over the group of trainers, and let out its primal roar. No more words, it was time to fight for your future! One trainer's arm then lit up, their dynamax band responding to Palkia's remains.
Dynamax Initiative:
TheKnightsFury, Machop

Trainers may only list 1 order per round. They are also permitted to using 1 item in lieu of an attack.
[*]Dynamax Initiative will select a trainer at random. If a trainer has initiative, they may choose to Dynamax their Pokemon for a duration of 3 turns. Dynamaxed Pokemon may only select a Max Attack of a corresponding type from their registered moveset, or Max Guard in place of status moves.

[*]Roleplaying your orders is optional, but $250 may be collected for responses of 250 words or greater, and Bond will accumulate only for the trainer’s active Pokemon in battle.
[*]You have until Saturday, July 11th to place your order.

As time went on (for lack of a better term, for time was very clearly not going on in this desolate place), Keith and Willa could see more and more Trainers arriving, gathering, all of them also intent on fighting this monstrosity in this high-stakes raid battle. There were numerous familiar faces- there was Drake, commanding a large and powerful-looking Bewear while Wolfe went to greet some of the others. Even Robin, a good friend of Keith's, along with Dusty, who had evidently evolved into Flygon. Jake and his Lucario, too- Willa felt like they were in good hands here, having experienced the Lucario's power firsthand.

Another portal that had opened up had thrust an entire helicopter into the world, the whirling of its blades echoing dully throughout the desolate and eerily still sky. It was a news helicopter from Channel 890, and the people on board could not believe their eyes.

"Arceus, Mew, and Helix!" swore Channel 890's most prominent news reporter, Diana Macks. "Marv, what is that?!"

Marv, the cameraman who worked with Diana, was stunned at the sight before him. "The legendary Dialga," he murmured. "Primal Dialga at that- so the stories I've heard, then, there's truth to them..."

"Primal Dialga? Old stories- wh- well- well, then, what the hell are we waiting for? Fire up that camera!" exclaimed Diana.

"Somehow I'm not sure we're still in contact with the station," Marv remarked as he fiddled with his TV camera.

"Well, then we'll have to hope we can bring them back the footage- either way, this is exactly the time we should be rolling!" declared Diana. She cleared her throat, got into position, and as Marv gave her a thumbs-up to signal that they were rolling, she spoke up. "Ladies and gentlemen of Fizzytopia, my crew and I have been sent through a strange portal into a desolate world where time itself appears to have stopped." Taking this as their cue, the pilot slowly turned the helicopter, allowing Marv a panoramic shot of the bleak grey universe they'd been thrust into, stopping so that the camera could focus on Primal Dialga and the gathered Trainers. "The cause of all this is as yet unknown, but what you see there is a being known as Primal Dialga," Diana continued. "Behind it is what I can only surmise to be a black hole, orbited by... by the remains of the legendary Palkia," she gulped, mortified by such a sight. "What is clear here and now is that there is a great danger to everyone present, possibly to the entire world, but it appears a great deal many Pokémon Trainers have gathered to take on Primal Dialga. I'm Diana Macks, and I will be bringing you this story as it develops."

"Nothing to it but to go right on in!" Keith declared. Though he tried to make himself sound brave, his voice shook slightly, and judging by the way Willa gently took hold of his hand, she'd noticed. Keith gave her a brief yet sincere and grateful smile, before turning back to Primal Dialga, holding his girlfriend's hand all the while. "We fight fire with fire! Jack, Transform!" he commanded.

"Dittoooooooooo!" squealed Jack, as his gelatinous form started to glow. Not quite as though he was about to evolve or something, but similarly. His body did start to change shape, however, and grew drastically as it did so. Blobby amorphous goop became solid steel legs, supporting a sturdy torso and powerful tail. Jack was taking on the form of the very being they were looking to subdue, and now, Keith knew, that power would be his to command as well. At least for this battle, anyway, but hell, he'd take it. This, surely, could only be good for their chances.

Now if only that way of thinking could completely banish his feelings of dread- they were far from out of the woods. The battle had only just begun.

OOC: Jack used Transform (0 BP; Transforming into Raid Boss Primal Dialga).

It happened suddenly. One moment, Dracen was lounging on a large rock in the Oasis, Trapinch sleeping on his lap. The next, a portal had ripped open underneath him and he was sent falling into darkness... then he was standing again, on some kind of rocky platform. Trapinch, wide awake now, stood in front of him and peered about warily. Dracen did the same, noting a few other Trainers with Pokémon before his gaze fell upon a stone spire to their right, upon which stood the majestic, the powerful, the menacing, the undefeatable...
"...Dialga." Dracen whispered, stunned. The Legendary Pokémon was still as stone, glowering down at them, lines of light tracing across its body like pure energy. It was huge, as big as a Dynamaxed Pokémon. More portals opened on either side, Trainers gathering with their partners to form a line of eighteen, nineteen, twenty. As it gazed down upon the fighting force in front of it, Dialga lifted its head and gave an ear-splitting roar. Some Trainers seemed to know what was happening, taking Dialga's roar as some kind of cue, ordering their Pokémon to attack. As a Ditto mimicked Dialga's form, Dracen took stock of the situation. They were in some alternate plane, light and shadows moving strangely, time hanging still. Palkia, Dialga's counterpart, seemed to have been defeated. As the gravity of their plight settled, it dawned on Dracen what this was. "A... Raid Battle? We're expected to defeat Dialga?" Trapinch looked at him bemusedly as if shrugging. More Trainers called out, Dialga only staring down at them. "Dialga… I did some research on it, since it's Dragon-Type. It's supposed to be a protector, but..." Dialga roared again as if to prove his point. "It's acting like it's out of its mind... we have to fight it?" Dracen glanced down at Trapinch, who looked just as confused as he was. "Can we really defeat a Legendary Pokémon? With all these Trainers, it might be possible... OK then, Trapinch, let's do our best!" Still slightly doubtful of the situation, he threw out an arm. "Use Earth Power(90BP)!" Trapinch snapped her teeth once, excited to be joining the fray. She reared back and stamped the ground with both front feet, causing a small eruption of earth to spring up underneath their foe. "No going back now..." Dracen whispered.

TL;DR: Using Earth Power(90BP).

Also gonna go with Earth Power (90 BP).

Melissa was hoping for some kind of strategy for the first set of attacks, but it seemed like most trainers already had plans for how they wanted to start off. The Houndoom let loose a bone-chilling Howl, which sorta gave her an idea of what Prince would sound like if she ever brought him out for battle, just before a Ditto Transformed into a copy of the Dialga. She glanced in that direction as the Sound of screeching Metal pierced her ears and was not entirely surprised to find that Keith had been the one to bring the Ditto. Everyone else, though, seemed to just be throwing damaging attacks at their opponent, so she decided they might as well go along with it.

"Alright, Layla, we're gonna hit it as hard as we can with an Earth Power and then come back," Melissa told her Cubone. "Especially since we don't know how hard it's gonna hit."

"Bone." Layla nodded a bit shakily and hefted her bone club, leaping into the fray among the other Pokémon.

Melissa tracked her as long as she could and then tilted her head towards Wildfire. "What d'you think?" she murmured, gaze scanning the group for Layla.

"Quil...cyndaquil quil cynda quil," Wildfire said, just as quietly. He shifted his weight on her shoulder. "Quil cynda cyndaquil cynda quil cynda."

Melissa blew out a breath. "That's what I'm worried about."

They caught sight of Layla in a gap between Pokémon as she slammed the bone in her hand into the Earth, Power following the cracks created from other Pokémon using the same move. She darted away before the attack even landed, zigzagging in an attempt to dodge any attacks thrown her way, and arrived back near Melissa and Wildfire, panting and turning back to face Dialga.

"Nice job," Melissa told her, though none of them took their eyes off their opponent. Layla grinned and shifted her grip on her bone club.

The raid had begun. Almost as soon as it had started, Xander felt a surge of energy flood through him. He'd felt something like this before, from the power spots, but this was dialled up at least ten notches! The source of the Dynamax energy seemed to be Palkia's remains, odd to be sure. Xander made a mental note of it, Professor Pine was sure to find it important to his research. With that done, Xander had to decide whether or not to make use of the energy that had chosen him. Up until now he hadn't noticed that Machop had been staring at his wrist since it started glowing. "You want to Dynamax, right?" Machop had been so eager to join the fight, it would make sense that it wanted to Dynamax.....

The Machop shook his head violently, his body tensing up. Wait? It didn't want to Dynamax? Why wouldn't it want to Dynamax?! Xander pulled out his Pokedex, maybe there was something he was missing. Sure enough, a quick scan of the dex revealed exactly why Machop wouldn't want to Dynamax. The Fighting type must have been doing some serious training, because it seemed as though it was perfectly built for raids. It's No Guard ability paired perfectly with Dynamic Punch for a powerful blow and added confusion. It also had Fissure, which when paired with No Guard would all the Fighting type to smash two shields at once. It was even packing Drain Punch for healing! Dynamaxing would prevent Machop from exploiting its arsenal. "Ahh I see, we'll let the energy pass on then. How about we lead with a powerful Dynamic Punch then?"

With the helicopter flying overhead Drake tried hard to not reach up and hide his face from the camera that was panning around as this fight was about to go down, He didn't know how the news chopper got here but that didn't matter at this moment, what did matter was that Eric helped take on this rampaging Diety...
Wolfe set his Trainer down and was to run about catching and pulling trainers back from the crossfire of attacks where they could, pokemon although important as much as the trainers, could be pulled back into a Pokeball at the drop of a dime, Trainers couldn't and most probably weren't as agile enough nor could make keep an eye for themselves when they are watching their pokemon. It bothered the giant dog that he wasn't the one out there helping his Trainer fight, but he could trust Eric.

Drake wasted no time now that the battle had begun, Eric rushed in with the rest of the pokemon attacking, enveloping his paw in a large, growing orange energy. Eric had to go in close to make physical contact much like the little machop beside him, so the two pulled each other up and used the transforming Ditto, Jack, as a leaping platform to get close and smack the diety, Eric's Black Belt whipping in the air.

The Hammer like Arm swung up high and then plowed down on top of the head of Primal Dialga, it was sure to be a pretty big hit, But Drake knew this is only the first of many barrages they'd have to release upon the giant to subdue it. Eric grabbed the Machop after it delivered its blow and sheltered it as they landed, rolling back close to the other attacking pokemon.

( OOC: Using Hammer Arm, 100 BP boosted with the Black Belt )

Time seemed to stand still and rush by all at once, Emp unsure if it was the adrenaline pumping through his veins or some sort of time dilation caused by the event horizon pulsating ominously ahead. Scanning the cityscape the trainer noted that they had built quite the company, twenty strong with many of their combatants as formidable as Situation in his new form. Some of them moreso, even.

Emp vaguely recognised Jess from the fray, a trainer whose base he’d visited one Christmas, years before he became the hermit he was today; with her was Rocky the Rhydon, sticking out as a powerhouse. He also picked out Keith from the ragtag assembly, accompanied by a Ditto which was daring (or foolish) enough to mimick the time god itself. The trainer had helped him make repairs to his sailboat while shipwrecked at Sludge Wave Coast. Finally, there was Alexander, who had been drifting about the lands for as long as Emp, although the trainer struggled to recall a specific encounter shared between them. While some of the remaining camp had a reputation that preceded them, they were for the most part complete strangers to Emp. He wondered if they would have time to interact at all as the Dialga let out a primal roar, looking about ready to level the city and about everyone in it. No – they weren’t here for idle chit chat. There was some greater destiny at play. Emp and Situation clentched their fists in unison, the pair cooking up a mean game plan:

Power-Up to the Punch!”
