Dig up Fossils and Rock-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO's Ultra Adventure Week event; Ultra Unlock: Research Day to be held on June 12th

Adventure Week 2022.jpgThe 2022 edition of the Adventure Week in Pokémon GO has begun and will remain running until June 12th, at 8:00 p.m. local time. This event features the debuts of the two Fossil Pokémon introduced in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, Tyrunt and Amaura, the Shiny variants of Archen and Tirtouga appearing for the first time, as well as several Rock-types and more Fossil Pokémon. In addition, due to players unlocking the Ultra Unlock bonuses during Pokémon GO Fest 2022, they will also be available in this event.

There are Timed Research tasks focused on exploring available. Complete them to earn three free Incubators.

Event Bonuses
  • 2× XP for spinning PokéStops
  • 5× XP for spinning a PokéStop for the first time
  • 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period

On June 12th, the Ultra Unlock: Research Day event will be running from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time. Limited Research tasks will be available when Photo Discs at PokéStops are spun. Complete them to encounter Cranidos and Shieldon; they will have an increased chance of appearing as Shiny ones.
