"What are you doing?!"
"The Digital World is descending into anarchy! Surely you must have noticed?"
"It's true that there have been more incidents than usual in recent times, but we-"
"There are no excuses. It has become obvious that you are no longer fit to lead us."
"I have heard your proposition and it's madness! If I have to silence this lunacy myself then- What?"

A sigh echoed through the Adelaide suburbs. "I did not do well on that test" Russell Taylor muttered to himself. "Guess that makes it just like the others." His mood stayed low as he entered his parents' electronics store. He was walking past the TVs when one of them flashed up an odd screen with text on it.
DO YOU WANT TO SUCCEED?
"Uhh... Mum?" The screen then displayed two buttons
YES NO
Hesitating slightly, Russell reached out and touched the "YES" button. Instantly, the screen flashed a bright light, and Russell felt himself falling, before impacting something hard.

***

When Russel came to, he was lying in a strange kind of forest, with plants he'd never seen before all around him, and large cables running through them. A large egg was resting on his chest.
"Hello?" He asked as he sat up, the egg rolling into his lap. "Anybody there?"

((@Midorikawa & @Kung Fu Ferret, A similar event will happen to your characters, a random electronic device will ask them a question, and send them to the Digital World. Have them enter the Digital World and meet their partner (In-Training level) and interact a little.))

Eric was volunteering at a wildlife preserve north of his native Cape Town, South Africa. He was tasked with alerting the proper authorities if he sees something suspicious, particularly any signs of poachers. The dry season was almost over in the savanna, but a popular watering hole was soon to get the rain it desperately needed. It was strange, but not uncommon, to be seeing predatory species like lions and jackals, drinking alongside common prey animals like zebras and gazelles. For anyone not familiar with how ecosystems work, it seems quite odd that the carnivores had no intention of hunting, and the herbivores, while quite wary of their surroundings, didn't seem to mind sharing water with animals that would usually eat them.

Eric opened up a canteen to get his own water, when his phone started going off, and he got a weird text that said "Do you want to save all forms of life from destruction? Type "yes" or "no". Eric was confused, but the watering hole seemed peaceful, and there were literally no signs of any poachers as far as he could see. Eric typed "yes", and the screen flashed an odd array of colors, and Eric soon found himself in a dense forest.

This forest seemed almost alien-like, as if Eric was somehow on a completely different planet. Eric was quite frankly confused. It didn't seem like any sort of ecosystem anywhere in South Africa, or anywhere else of planet earth. There was Stonehenge-like arrangement of vending machines, with an egg sitting at the center. This egg was a strange green-color, and was about five times bigger than an ostrich egg. Eric somehow got up, and made his way over to the enormous egg.

"Okay, I'm starting to get a 'Star Wars' type vibe from this forest. Let's hope I don't get captured by an army of Ewoks." Eric thought out loud.

Meteora sighed as she stared at her computer screen. She hated history. It was probably her worst subject. Also didn’t help that it wasn’t the same history she had been learning all her life coming from another country. With another sigh she went to take another sip of her coffee, only to discover there was nothing there. Her head was starting to hurt too. It was probably best just to head home.

She grabbed her bag, heaving it onto her shoulders. She then picked up her laptop, about to close it and place it inside its own bag. But then she saw a weird message.

Do you wish for adventure?

YES or NO

Creepy. Absolutely creepy. Like she would answer that. She tried to exit out but it wasn’t working. Lovely. She decided to just force shut down the laptop, but someone bumped into her, causing her o accidentally hit yes. Great now she would get a virus or something. Lovely. But she couldn’t care any further than that as suddenly she was falling.

Next thing she knew she was opening her eyes with her bag and laptop by her. And a drooling puff of smoke. Maybe someone spiked her coffee. She was also in a jungle like forest. Maybe she slipped and hit her head.

“You’re awake!” The smoke said cheerfully. “Hello partner!” It hugged her her.

Definitely drugged or hit her head.

Russell stood up to take a look around. Before he could move too far however, he stopped to look at the egg that had rolled onto the ground. It was huge, way too big for a normal egg. It was white on top and purple on the bottom, separated by a jagged line.
"What is this thing?" He wondered aloud to himself as he rotated it in his hands to check it from different angles. Deciding he wasn't going to get any answers by standing around here, he started heading off in a random direction.
"Hey! Anybody around? Hello?" He called out into the forest. Suddenly he heard a sickening crack behind him. He slowly turned around to see that one of the trees had been torn out of the ground and titled sideways. Still resting on the tree was a gigantic red hand attached to what appeared to be a giant, red, bipedal stag beetle. A Kuwagamon.
"What. The. F-" He was cut off by the Kuwagamon suddenly roaring and charging at him. He dashed into the trees to escape, with the Kuwagamon in hot pursuit. Straight towards the areas where Eric and Meteora had found themselves.
