Ditto are everywhere in Pokémon GO's April Fools’ 2-Oh?-22 event. Professor Willow, or is it Ditto?, has a Special Research for Trainers to claim until 11:59 p.m. local time on April Fools' Day.

From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time on April Fools' Day, the following Pokémon are appearing more frequently in the wild:
  • Ekans ⁂
  • Gastly ⁂
  • Natu ⁂
  • Surskit
  • Finneon
  • Dwebble ⁂
  • Swirlix

These Pokémon may also be Ditto in disguise.

Ditto may appear as different Pokémon in the wild from this event onward. The Shiny variant may also be encountered.

Trainers are able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
