Do you have any Pokemon Anime headcanons?

Here are ten more of my headcanons:

1) Several years in the future, Iris becomes the Unovan champion, while Cilan remains a gym leader. Cilan actually develops feelings towards Iris, and helps her out with her champion duties all the time-due to her having a tendency to not do her job well unless a situation really calls for it. Iris always wondered why Cilan took care of her so much despite him being put off by her personality when they traveled together. Nobody knows that Cilan secretly loves Iris, as he keeps it a secret from everybody but Pansage.

2) Another one in the future: Brock actually gets together with Lucy. As do Ash and Serena, who settle in Pallet Town. May gets together with Drew. And both Dawn and Misty remain single. Ash actually teases Dawn about her not having a husband, though she claims there's "no need to worry" because she'll get one. Misty is single simply because she claims she doesn't need a man and runs the Cerulean Gym to the best of her ability. She also teaches a swimming school, so she's already packed with stuff to do. However, she does call Dawn and Iris sometimes and the three get together secretly on nights they like to call "Single Ladies Night".

3) Sceptile actually becomes really close with Bayleef, the two entering a romantic relationship and being constantly teased about it by their teammates.

4) In the Alternate Universe-M20 onward, majority of the times Team Rocket bumps into Ash and Pikachu, they're out of money. This leads to Ash constantly treating them to breakfast, lunch, and dinner whenever they are completely broke-which is very often-and collapse on the side of the road. Annoyingly enough, they eat and run, though Ash still gives them food anyway, because it's the right thing to do. He actually ends up getting influenced by this himself, when he and Pikachu eat and run after seeing someone in trouble and left their food without paying to help that someone. Unlike Team Rocket, however, he paid repentance by washing dishes, getting mercilessly teased by Pikachu and Team Rocket in disguises through the window.

5) Also in the Alternate Universe: Team Rocket gets a Cramorant. Jessie is the one to catch it, this one being from the 23d pokemon movie, and when she first has it try to help them catch Pikachu, their plan ends up being a complete failure due to Cramorant deciding to eat Pikachu instead. Since then, anytime they capture Pikachu, Cramorant pops out of its Poke-ball and tries to eat Pikachu, leading to Pikachu completely freaking out anytime Cramorant is nearby.

6) Maron is Ramos's granddaughter. This is why both of them wear similar attire and can act similar as well.

7) Misty never had a crush on Ash. She might have at one point, but for the most part, she thought of him as an annoying little brother. Ash, however, had a crush on Misty. Serena is the only one of the Poke girls to actually have a crush on Ash.

8) Bulbasaur is the oldest of Ash's pokemon. His age is unknown, though the other pokemon try to guess it despite Bulbasaur never confirming his actual age. It doesn't help that he constantly talks about how "things were in my time" and proceeds to reference things that happened over one-hundred years ago. He also has horrible bedside manners, despite deeply caring for every single pokemon he watches over and takes responsibility for. He curses a lot, and and the only one who can really get through to him are his original teammates from Kanto and a few others.

9) A lot of pokemon look up to Pikachu, leading to them all calling him "big brother". This leads to him referring to and adopting many little siblings, however. His current list of little siblings is-in chronological order-as follows: Togetic(little sister), Donphan(little sister), the Pichu Brothers(little brothers), Chansey(little sister), Gible(little brother), Axew(little brother), Dedenne(little brother), Togedemaru(little sister), Naganadel(little brother), and Lucario(little brother). Including his kangaskhan brother, he has a total of twelve adopted siblings. Baby kangaskhan was actually older than him, and Pikachu considers Ash an older brother(like how he considers Pikachu a younger brother). So, the actual total is eleven adopted/surrogate younger siblings and two adopted/surrogate older siblings.

10) Another one on Pikachu. There's a lot of rumors going around Oak's ranch about Pikachu's famous imitations and acting abilities. The mysteries and rumors over Pikachu changes throughout the course of each week, but one that's always remained at the very top of "unsolved" is about a certain imitation of Pikachu's: Sceptile. Sceptile always has to look for the perfect stick and sometimes takes an hour to find it, whereas whenever Pikachu imitates Sceptile, he somehow manages to have that SAME EXACT STICK with him which immediately vanishes when he's done imitating Sceptile. Ash's pokemon regard it as a bigger mystery than those surrounding legendary pokemon.
I love these, especially the CRAMORGOD one (he’s my favorite Pokemon)

Ten more makes fifty~!

1) Corphish is Ash's second oldest pokemon, though he's often made fun of for how he still hasn't been able to evolve despite all his years of experience and dream of wanting to evolve.

2) Conway has a lot of plants in his bedroom. Each one is names after an aquatic pokemon. However, his favorite plant is a poppy named skitty.

3) In Unova, both Ash and Pikachu were ridiculed by some people and pokemon alike because of their accents and foreign background. Ash, by some people underestimating him due to his place of origin, and the same is said for Pikachu, only with Pikachu, there is a conception that rodent pokemon as a species are generally frowned and looked down upon-leading to Pikachu getting called derogatory terms like "vermin" and the like. This poke-ism(pokemon racism?) is carried in Kalos as well. Ash, on the other hand, stresses out over the racism as well, and appreciates that when that does happen, his friends immediately come to his rescue. Iris has actually blown a fuse one time in Unova after Ash had been ridiculed in front of other people in public, almost attacking the guy who had said such things. The same happened for Pikachu, his teammates and friends always getting defensive whenever he is called a "rat" or "vermin"-which happened very often, sadly.

4) Talonflame didn't like Serena for some reason, according to other people. However, near the end of Kalos is when Talonflame began to warm up to Serena, eventually liking her. Nobody knows why this is so, even the pokemon, as all Talonflame ever said on the matter was that Serena was apparently a "witch".

5) Torkoal has a secret nobody knows about: he watches dating shows online(at least until Noctowl found out about it...but he didn't tell anyone so Torkoal's secret is safe! :p

6) The Alolan Team often plays card and word games with one another, betting the silliest things over each game, like who would get to wake Ash up in the morning. Lycanroc always wins Crazy Eights, Inceneroar is great at Old Maid, Melmetal loves Uno like Naganadel, Rowlet always cheats at Go Fish and Pikachu is always the one cheated.

7) Squirtle sends Bulbasaur letters about his time with the Squirtle Squad and his firefighting duties every single month.

8) Looker is in a relationship with Officer Jenny, specifically the one involved in the Malamar incident in XY. The two currently aren't in a relationship as they broke up after Looker went MIA. Looker still has a picture of her in his pocket everywhere he goes.

9) Miette has a serious crush on Serena. The reason why she was so antagonistic towards her and tried to get Ash to "like" her was so Serena would lose interest in Ash-there wasn't any further thought process and over time, Miette realized how ridiculous she was being. Slurpuff knew about her real feelings the whole time and is also actually a boy.

10) In the pokemon movie, Volcanian and the Mechanical Marvel, Volcanian had taken a liking to Pikachu, and vice versa, as Pikachu was the only pokemon he's met to challenge him so adamantly and fearlessly-especially in defense of a human. When Volcanian had said that pokemon don't lie in the movie, Pikachu had instantly told him that wasn't true-as he's met pokemon with malicious intentions before-though Volcanian was adamant about it. When Pikachu first picked a fight with Volcanian, he felt a bit shocked that a "small runt" would challenge him, a legendary/mythical pokemon, but hid this feeling. He didn't express it until later, when he asked Pikachu to watch over Ash and make sure he didn't do anything stupid, before briefly acknowledging that Pikachu was right and he shouldn't have been so quick to judge. (This movie is kinda underrated...)

The most of the headcannons are well thought out but I don’t think Ash's Pokémon would make fun of one of their comrades for not being able to evolve.
Didn't think that one through, to be honest, so thanks for pointing that out. Though, at Oak's lab there's other pokemon there that aren't just Ash's, so if he would be teased or made fun of it would be by other pokemon that aren't necessarily on Ash's team.

If that kind of teasing happened, I’d think that Pokémon like Buizel would give the offender a proper beating.

Here is one of my biggest concerns after watching parts of Pokémon Journeys' 21st episode: it is about Ash's Riolu/Lucario.

After recognizing Ash's Aura as the same as the one it sensed back when it was in its Egg, Riolu forced Ash to have it being the only Pokémon to battle instead of Pikachu, and while he was looking at the attacking Onix, it took his moment of distraction to fill up with a HUGE potion of his Aura, thinking that it would make it become fully invincible. After that, it thought that only battling, training intensively and getting stronger every day and during very long hours (which led to Pikachu's extreme jealousy) would be the key to its evolution (in my headcanon, it wanted to evolve at all cost (and super fast), so it could learn Aura Sphere, as well as use its Aura properly and at will), and that the aura it took away from Ash would allow it to defeat all opponents. That was not until undergoing a crushing defeat by Bea's Grapploct that it realized that its Trainer's Aura and everything it believed was true were, in fact, false. After that defeat, it started to realize that friendship with its Trainer and other Pokémon (including Ash's Pikachu) were more important than just battling and training.

During the battle against Chairman Rose, Riolu did an act of true friendship by nearly sacrificing itself to save Ash and Pikachu from being crushed by the chairman's Ferrothorn and Copperajah. This led it to its evolution into Lucario (the Pokémon it wanted to be) and learning Aura Sphere (the move it wanted to learn).

Weird headcanon, isn't it? Don't hesitate to correct me if I'm wrong, but please be kind and polite.

However, I have another theory and another headcanon.

Normally, a Riolu that has yet to hatch needs to sense the Aura of one or both of its parents (most preferably one or two Lucario (one male and one female)) and react to it before, during and after hatching. The reason that Aura must be emitted even after it hatches is because it needs to find the exact source of the same Aura it senses while it was in its Egg. When it finds it, Riolu takes only a small portion of its parents' Auras, but it is still enough to build enough strength and power.
However, after watching parts of Pokémon Journeys' 21st episode, I have this rather strange theory - not only these concerns. Since Ash's then-Riolu (now a Lucario) apparently preferred sensing Ash's Aura, maybe it unusually wanted to fill itself with an Aura "far stronger than those of its parents or any individual with this energy". Or perhaps...it prefers to be raised by an Aura Guardian (which Ash isn't despite having Aura powers) and become one itself...
...Even thought this wouldn't be a very scientific perspective if that was the case.

I see that many people really wanted Ash to have a Riolu/Lucario, and were happy that he finally has one, but...does anybody have any concern about what it did to Ash before it attacked Onix? What did it really do with emanating Aura in ripples below its paws and Ash's feet?

Right before the beginning of the DP saga, Ash had a battle with Gary where the latter used an Electivire against Ash's Pikachu, and at one point Pikachu tried to attack Electivire with Volt Tackle only for Gary to call for a Protect. Because Gary called for that move instead of taking the opportunity for a Motor Drive speed boost, it makes me think that his Electivire has its Hidden Ability of Vital Spirit.

Note: I'm aware that the actual reason Protect was used is because the writers likely didn't know at the time that Electivire had an Ability that made it immune to electricity, but it's more fun to think of this alternative explanation.

I'm baaaack~;) Like I mentioned before, all my headcanons are connected to one another unless I specify somehow that they aren't so here are some more(only five this time around)~!

1. Goodra and Florges have feelings for each other, though neither can say anything for multiple reasons. One being the glaringly obvious issue of them being opposite types. The other being that they have their responsibilities as leaders of the wetlands. Another was that there was far too much history between them for them to be anything more than a "professional" relationship(as far as wild pokemon can go in professional relationships, I mean). And the final was that Florges actually had a mate beforehand, but that mate had abandoned her and was the reason why her daughter, Floette, had gotten so sick in the first place.

2. Goh isn't gay. He's bi. Talonflame had a weird tendency to imply that his friends were in romantic relationships with one another when they weren't. Thing were even more awkward for the other pokemon when he implied that those of the same sex had feelings for one another. While some pokemon didn't mind at all-as it wasn't a problem due to the circumstances where they grow up-most of them minded-due to them growing up in, again, different circumstances from living in the wild.

3. The reason why pokemon are so easily agreeable after being caught near paths by trainers is because they want to get caught. Otherwise, they would just find another place to live instead of just near paths, roads, and towns where trainers could potentially catch them. This was why Ash's Unfezant was so agreeable after getting caught-the same with Butterfree, Staraptor, etc. This was also why, in Talonflame's introductory episode, he waited for Ash and the gang to sort out how to find Fletchling and simply yawned in boredom while waiting for them: he had an interest in Ash and wanted to get caught by him, which is why he waited around in the first place.

4. Ash actually went to school before, but the reason why he isn't very book smart is because Pallet Town had a terrible education system. Plus, due to his difficulties with studying properly, he was never able to make due with what Delia or the school managed to teach him. Most kids dropped out of school by ten to become trainers, while others took different paths around that age as traders, farmers, or simply working at him, or finding another place to study. After getting teased for being at the very bottom of the class when it came to scores, however, he tried to push his grades up by asking Delia to buy a huge amount of thick books for him to study-he claimed that he would be able to finish all of the textbooks by the end of the week. HOWEVER, he ultimately was unable to do this, and just read the books little by little each day. He eventually managed to finish the books, but most of them remain unopened to this day. This was the reason why his shelf was seen filled with thick books way back in EP001.

5. [This was actually taken from the fanfiction, Like No One Ever Was by TheFallenArc] The reason why Gary was so antagonistic towards Ash was actually because of Molly Hale-when they were younger, Ash had promised to hang out with Gary, but stood him up to play with Molly instead. Gary was unable to let go of this grudge, until far later, after Ash had earned his respect-he realized he was being ridiculously petty and swore to himself to forget that was ever his line of thinking. Ash doesn't know, and Gary would like to keep it that way. [Seriously, read this fanfic, it's great...I mean, the storyline could use some serious tweaking, but the character writing is just so...AUGH. Only read it if you're okay with living with heartache anytime you think about this fanfic. It's THAT upsetting.]
