The Pokemon games are actually games that are made and played, made primarily for those who are physically unable (wheel-chair bound, for example) to go out on an actual Pokémon journey (able-bodied people can enjoy the games as well if they don't want to actually go on a journey).

During Serena's return in Journeys there were flashbacks to her Sylveon's time as an Eevee, yet interestingly she was shown with a zigzag tail pattern rather than the flower/heart pattern that female Eevees are now shown with. Because of this, I like to think that Serena's Sylveon is male-to-female transgender.

(Note: yes, I know the zigzag tail was most likely an oversight on part of the animators, but the idea of a transgender Pokemon is more interesting)

Damien not being from Pallet Town (seeing Ash did know who the guy is) would make sense, but the second part of your post does not make sense at all...

Theory why Serena's Eevee had a male tail:

Maybe in the anime only female partner Eevee (AKA Chloe's Eevee) and female Eevee from Hisui and Galar have heart patterns. It could be a regressive genetic mutation which makes Eevee easier to sex (the pattern could have been important in the past since people didn't have PokéDexes telling them). Additionally, since Eevee are rare (well, as rare as a Pokémon that can be found in most regions can be) and most are male, the tail pattern could have been handy for when people wanted to breed them. As for Galar, since Galar limits which Pokémon can enter the border, maybe the regressive tail trait stuck around because not enough wild Eevees were being imported.

Ryuki is the cousin of Benga. They're both mysterious 3rd version/sequel characters of a region, who use Dragon types. Additionally, the Dragon Types Ryuki uses in the anime were introduced in Generation 5.

Ryuki's Backstory: Ryuki got fed up of being obscured by Alder, Benga and Iris, so he moved to Alola to claim that he was a star. His new persona took over and eventually started to mimic Roxie, albeit poorly. As for the Kantonaian Gym... he probably heard that Kanto was popular, so he hastily named it the "Kantonian Gym". To further boost his own ego, Ryuki handed out badges that had his face on them.

If Leon has a Rillaboom in the Anime, then I am going to choose to believe that somewhere in the Galar Region, either Victor or Gloria (whoever is the SwSh protag) went on an Adventure with the Sobble line!

Maybe but let's not forget that Game Protagonists definitely do still exist in the Anime even if they don't become Ash companions

Most Gardevoir seen with major roles in the anime are implied to be female, although the anime sometimes implies the existence of male Gardevoir as well (ironically, the first anime voice for Gardevoir sounded more androgynous than female, so male Gardevoir nowadays would have a more androgynous-sounding voice than females). Also, if a female Kirlia (or a male Snorunt) attempted to use a Dawn Stone, the stone will simply just shatter and turn to dust in her hands.

Because of the fact that the very first time we hear this Song in the Anime is when Drizzile evolves into Inteleon I immediately associate this song with him

Due to this I am going to choose delusion today and imagine that this is Goh's Inteleon's theme song

Cameron is actually from an extremely wealthy family, and his Pokemon team was actually bought for him by his parents from the best breeders in the region. Before Cameron went on his journey, his parents also hired several highly skilled specialists to train up his Pokemon for him. This all explains how Cameron's team is so powerful and well-trained despite how idiotic and incompetent he is otherwise.

It’s one-sided though. If I shipped Ash and Dawn together then they would get together. Buizel probably got over his crush and kept it secret from everyone because he wants to look stoic and Mr. Serious.
