Do you think Sun and Moon is a critical and financial failure?

Critical and financial failure, absolutely not. But it definitely had a lot of shortcomings. I liked the vibe of the region, a lot of the new Pokémon, and the concept of regional variants, but I never want to play through the story again. The narrative itself was strong for a Pokémon game, but getting stopped every two seconds for some asinine reason really brought the enjoyment down for me. Sword and Shield are pretty much the opposite - weak story, but much less handholding. I wish Game Freak could find a way to balance that.

I think those games were a financial success but a critical failure. I've seen more complaints about them than I have praise for them.
