Don't miss the debut of Shiny Skrelp in the Noxious Swamp event this weekend in Pokémon GO

Niantic is holding the Noxious Swamp event this weekend in Pokémon GO, featuring a selection of the Poison and Dragon-type Pokémon that are currently appearing at the Pokémon GO Fest 2023: New York City in-person event. Shiny Skrelp will also be making its Pokémon GO debut as part of this event, which is running from August 19th, at 10:00am, to August 22nd, at 8:00pm local time.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active during the event:

• 2× Catch Candy
• One additional free Raid Pass per day from spinning Gym Photo Discs
• Team GO Rocket balloons appear more frequently

Timed Research
Free event-exclusive Timed Research will be available, featuring a selection of tasks focused on raiding, and awarding encounters with Poison- and Dragon-type Pokémon on completion, including Jangmo-o. These Timed Research tasks and their rewards will be available until August 22nd, at 8:00pm local time.
