Incense Day event, featuring Skorupi and other Bug- and Poison-type Pokémon
Pokémon GO's celebration of the spooky season continues with the game's latest Incense Day event, which runs tomorrow, October 21st, between 11:00am and 5:00pm local time. Suitably for the season, this Incense Day event will focus on a selection of creepy and/or crawly critters, including Skorupi and other Bug- and Poison- type Pokémon.

Event bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active during the event period:
  • Incense is more likely to attract Skorupi.
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Skorupi.
  • Daily Adventure Incense lasts twice as long when activated during the event.
During the event, the in-game shop will also stock an event-exclusive bundle including one incense, which can be purchased for 1 PokéCoin.

Event-themed Field Research tasks involving catching Bug-and Poison-type Pokémon will also be available, offering a selection of rewards when completed including additional encounters with Skorupi, Stardust, and Ultra Balls.

Incense Encounters:
During the event, a selection of Bug- and Poison- type Pokémon will be attracted to Incense in alternating hourly blocks as per the following schedule:
  • 11:00am - 12:00pm: Bug-type Pokémon
  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Poison-type Pokémon
  • 1:00pm - 2:00pm: Bug-type Pokémon
  • 2:00pm - 3:00pm: Poison-type Pokémon
  • 3:00pm - 4:00pm: Bug-type Pokémon
  • 4:00pm - 5:00pm: Poison-type Pokémon

Field Research task encounters
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available when players spin Photo Discs at PokéStops. Completing this research will award an encounter with an Oddish, which rarely will appear in its Shiny variant.
