I don't care how tightly that hammock is tied, there's an *enormous* weight discrepancy there.

Ok, more continuity is nice, but I still find it funny that everytime there's a flashback in D/P, its to either a Kanto or AG episode, whereas we still haven't gotten any major Johto flashbacks.
If I'm thinking of the right scene, Brock realized Gliscor couldn't walk properly, so he tried to carry it on his back, but it was way too heavy.and when it tried to pick up Brock and got injured in the process (is that what happened? not sure).
I didn't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen in the Pachirisu episode. It looked alright, but it does show that Ash and anyone else without Brock is a disaster. That's pretty bad. Ash, if you're still going for that "master" thing, there's other things you need to "master" first, and those ways lead to success.
Gliscor wasn't even walking though. More of bouncing around on its tail. In the end, it proved to be too heavy, yes?If I'm thinking of the right scene, Brock realized Gliscor couldn't walk properly, so he tried to carry it on his back, but it was way too heavy.
When the Delcatty seeming "disappeared" in a puff of smoke - that was Substitute (in Japanese, it's called out as Migawari). So Substitute was supposedly used by Delcatty in this episode. Where? I didn't see it.
Piplup's mascoty-ness was at minimum in this episode, which was good, and he even got shot down when he tried to steal the spotlight from Pikachu in helping Dawn cook lunch.
Also...what was the deal with the berries? Were they the wrong kind or something?
FINALLY Dawn gets it that Ambipom is better suited to the battle rounds. And she is successful in all the battles because of it.
Is it just me or do sleeping Pokemon seem to be immune to damage in the anime?
Pip also didn't do anything in Fantina's episode and as far as I remember it didn't do much in the summer school arc or the Psyduck episode or "Hearthome Collection" and it sure doesn't look like it'll play any important role in the Galactic episodes
People should stop exaggerate with it... it doesn't do anything that Pika doesn't... and Pika did it for much longer
Ash and Dawn learned from watching Brock that Oran Berry is good in such cases
But the thing they found only looked like Oran but actually wasn't
When Brock came he explained why they didn't find Oran there (I think it's something to do with the ground) and than showed them where to get it
I think he also told Ash and Dawn that one day they might travel alone and should know these things
It's nice to see them learn from Brock... maybe they won't "need" him so much eventually
No one said anything about any Pokémon being "better suited" to a certain round
All the Pokémon can be good at Contests and can do both performance and Contest battles
What was wrong with Ambipom's performance in Wallace? For Solaceon that's Dawn to blame since she didn't think about how the attack covers Ambi
When Buizel was put to sleep by Drifloon, when it woke up it felt the damage from the attacks it got while it slept... I think... I remember there was something like that
There are two main things differing between Pikachu and Piplup being a mascots. One is that Pikachu has a valid reason for being out of his Pokeball-he has a phobia of it. Piplup has never expressed any dislike for being inside his Pokeball, so there's no real need for him to be out all the time.
The second one is that Ash doesn't rely ONLY on Pikachu,he uses his other Pokemon equally, whereas Dawn relies on Piplup and ONLY Piplup about 99.9% of the time. Dawn's been a trainer for nearly 100 episodes and she still hasn't realized that she needs to use all of her Pokemon equally and not rely only on Piplup. If Piplup is going to be a good mascot, he needs to not be treated like he's Dawn's only Pokemon.
I know-it's just that Ambipom has much more battle experience than she does appeal experience and she's Dawn's strongest Pokemon, so I think Dawn should realize that and rely more on Ambipom for battling.
