Issue #1: The YG Girl Group Issue (May 7-20, 2020)
Well, BLACKPINK's next comeback will be this summer, so this time we'll discuss about YG Entertainment's girl groups.

Since 1998, YG Entertainment has been a part of the Korean entertainment scene. They've made numerous K-pop bands such as 2NE1, BLACKPINK, BIGBANG, and Winner famous, but behind all this glamor, there's a dark side: they have logistical problems, and its manager, Yang Hyeon-seok, manages it in a subpar way - this was why 2NE1's disbandment had to occur.

I'd consider one of YG Entertainment's edgiest (now disbanded) girl groups to be 2NE1, which officially debuted in 2009 with "Fire", followed by songs such as "Can't Nobody" and "I Am the Best" within the next five years. And even though the entertainment company tried to debut SuPearls in 2012, those plans turned into total failure before the year had ended. But there was still hope: after Yang Hyeon-seok and his employees previously considered making a girl group larger than 2NE1, yet adjusted its potential size over time, they finally managed to debut BLACKPINK (with its four members) in August 2016.

In the same year, however, 2NE1 got disbanded after Park Bom's drug scandal, Minzy becoming a soloist, and numerous delays to their comebacks; Nam Tae-hyun also left Winner on that day. After that, however, CL continues to work on American music, Park Sandara is still signed to YG, and Minzy has moved to Music Works, something that left Park Bom's future under question after 2NE1's disbandment.

Anyway, that's all I've written for now. See you later!
