After the events of the different regions, parents became concerned over their children getting hurt. This lead to changes in law and how journeys worked. One had to attend normal school until they were eighteen years of age, only taking the most basic of classes on pokémon. At eighteen they could go to college for a normal job, or attend one that specializes in becoming a trainer and thus earning a trainer license. Outside of this, rules on owning pokémon changed as well. Unless one had a kind of license, they were not allowed more than one pokémon, two at the most if there was a reason behind it.

And of course there is one place better than any other to get this license: Elemental University. Here one could learn the basics of any path of training pokémon, and become an expert in any or all fields (depending on how much work they care to do that is). It provides the best of the best professors, and the best tools needed for learning. And to make it unique, each major has its own dorm, color, and representative pokémon. After all competition is very important in pokémon training.

Name: Duncan Sage

Major: Stylist

Appearance: Black shoulder length hair with shorter bangs swept to the right and gunmetal grey eyes. He always has on black framed and a necklace with a red gemstone pendant. His clothing style is jeans and simple shirts or ones with some kind of fandom thing, and of course a stylist jacket.

Personality: Duncan tries to make friends with others and is almost always as nice as he can be. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t defend himself and others. He will often choose sides when it comes to fights. He is very supportive of others and when they’re down, or feel like something is missing, he is there to offer something to help. When talking about himself, he doesn’t. He prefers to try to avoid the subject and does not talk much about himself. For past time he is a geek, enjoying books and comics and all kinds of things.

History:

Pokemon: A male sableye named Joker. His ability is prankster and he is missing both his eyes, as well as the gem on his chest. Thus he moves entirely by trainer command and other senses.

Other: He can cook simple things surprisingly well.

Name: Meteora Kira

Age: 18

Gender: Female (Though everyone thinks male at first)

Major: Coordinator

Appearance: Meteora has short red hair that reaches to the bottom of her neck in the back, and bangs slightly reaching her hazel eyes. She is tall standing at around 6’2’’ with an athletic build. Her style of clothing are things such as cargos and sports tees and what not. Things like dresses and skirts have not been a part of her wardrobe since she was eight. The ultimate result is she looks like a guy.

Personality: Meteora is friendly and cheerful. She is up for almost anything as long as it seems fun. She especially enjoys soccer and road racing, both of which she is good at. She is very active, yet also enjoys computers and coding, and um other electronic activities. And she is always willing to lend a hand. Most of all she believes nothing is decided by birth.

History: Meteora was born in a far away region. There she grew up under her parents in a recluse quiet kind of life. This was due to being born with a heart condition, and her parents want to make sure it didn’t act up. When she was eight the family of three took a trip to Johto where an accident happened. She was left orphaned, but rather than being forced to go back to the region and into a home there, she was saved. A man no older than nineteen who was a friend of her parents adopted her without hesitance. From there her life changed quite a lot. She learned soccer from him, and became active and outgoing growing up very happy. She also became quite close with other members of her adoptive father’s family, learning things such as road racing from them. At eighteen she decided on Elemental Academy not due to its reputation, but due to the fact that she has a relative there as a professor.

Pokemon: A male gyarados named Desarm with the ability intimidate.

Other: She has a heart condition and a beautiful singing voice, despite her talking voice sounding scratchier and non-feminine.

Name: William "Will" Grey

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Major: Coordinator

Appearance: Will stands at 5,11 and weighs about 150 lbs. He's very slender, and has fairly soft features. He has pale skin and with chestnut hair that's pin straight, and large green eyes. He typically wears bright colored clothing meant for comfort over style, usually wearing a T shirt with a pair of jeans, and a Red Cardigan when it gets cold out.

Personality: Will is usually soft spoken and polite. He's quiet and doesn't like to get involved with conflict too often. Despite how restrained he usually seems, when he's on stage coordinating or battling, you see a fiery passion and captivating charm that no performer can achieve with any amount of training. Will typically prefers Pokemon with gentle demeanors, and has a penchant for Fairy Type Pokemon. He doesn't like talking about his family or about his childhood, and he has a hard time standing up for himself.

History: When growing up, Will was abused as a child. His father was a violent alcoholic, and his mother was always distant towards him. He felt really alone growing up. He always loved watching Pokemon contests though. He loved watching how happy the Pokemon and Trainer's looked on stage, and wanted to be just like them. Smiling, and spreading joy and beauty on the stage. After a particularly nasty beating, Will tried running away from home for the first time. When he left, he fled into a nearby forest, where he just broke down crying. A Ralts came up to him, sensing his sadness, and nuzzled up to him. The two became close, and almost every day since, Will would go to the forest and play with the Ralts and all of the other Fairy Type Pokemon that inhabited the wood. By his eighteenth birthday, the bond between him and the Ralts had grown so much that it had evolved into Kirlia. He asked if his friend would join him in becoming a trainer, and the Kirlia happily tagged along. Trying to leave his past behind, Will enrolled in the Elemental Academy.

A tad bit prideful, but brave all the same; she isn't afraid to defend those who cannot stand up for themselves. She hates girly things, and loves rock music.

History: She'd rather not say.

She wears a locket around her neck, identical to that of her sister's.

Personality: She's much more cordial and polite than her sister Pandora, though she is just as willing to stand up for others. Appearance: Standing at 5'7", Lucia has tanned skin, long brown hair, and bright green eyes. She is fairly fit from intense hours of training. Her outfits tend to be casual, as she needs to be mobile for various missions and hikes. Lucia rarely carries around bags or anything of the sort. She will insist that pockets hold anything you need (they don't).

Personality: Lucia is fairly goofy, but she's laid back and gets along with most people she meets. Known for bad jokes and stupid ideas, Lucia is a good friend to have, and she cares deeply for those she gets along with.

History: A typical, normal history. Anything extra will be said in RP.

Appearance: Grant's an average sized guy, with an average build. He's got ear length dark hair that sorta fans out at the ends (he has no clue why). His clothing tends to be stuff like t-shirts and jeans, but really he just wears whatever he feels like or whatever's best for the weather. He also tends to wear a pair of sunglasses on his head.

Personality: Grant tends to say what he's thinking, even if it may not be the best thing to say, but that doesn't mean he's not a nice guy. He does trybto make friends, his habit can just make him come off as a bit of a jerk, maybe costing him a few potential friends. He's quite affectionate towards Pokemon.

History: Grant honestly never actually thought that Pokemon Ranger would be his career path. In fact he was perfectly content to just go into a trade and just work. That was, until he went camping in the woods one day. Some idiot must've started a fire, because he found himself surrounded by flames. He thought he was going to die, until the Scyther that would come to be known as Marluxia busted through and saved him. As the Mantis Pokemon went to go back in, Grant followed it in an attempt to help, instructing it in the best ways to save multiple Pokemon at once, and taking some himself. Once the fire department arrived and the blaze was contained, giving Grant a moment to actually think about what had happened, he realised that without him there, a number of those Pokemon would probably have died. This caused Grant to realise that he wanted to help and protect Pokemon, so he applied for Ranger training at the best place he could think of, and got in. Going back to the forest, he met up with the Scyther again, and asked if it wanted to come with him. Clearly he'd made an impression on the Pokemon, as it accepted, and they became partners.

Personality: You wouldn't expect from his calm and modest demeanor that he's a beast in battle. He tends to favor all-out attacks, and rarely has his Sneasel used a defensive move. His favorite type is Dark, which he hopes to specialize in.

History: His grandfather being a Gym Leader, Cyras wants to follow in his footsteps. He grew up with a fairly average childhood. Once, at age 17, he wanted to "train" for the Elemental Academy. To accomplish this, he went to the coldest place you can find. And there, he found a Sneasel, who agreed to fight him for training. It was a long, hard-fought battle. Eventually, neither could find themselves able to win, and they considered it a tie. The Sneasel recognized the young man's ambition to become the strongest, and now they're quite a duo.
