Emma & Crobat are making their Pokémon Masters EX Debut in a limited-time Poké Fair Scout. This pair has an expanded sync grid, as well as the ability to be raised to 6★ EX. Raising the pair to 6★ changes Emma's outfit to the reverse of Crobat's palette.
Emma & Crobat are a Fair-Exclusive Poison-type Strike sync pair, specialized around dealing repeated critical hits to poisoned opponents. Their B Cross Poison buddy move, which can only be used when at least one opponent is poisoned, will never miss and almost always land a critical hit, as well as having a 10% chance of leaving opponents badly poisoned. Together with their Toxic Freebie 4 skill, which has a 50% chance of applying the Free Move Next effect whenever Emma & Crobat attack a poisoned or badly poisoned opponent, this allows Emma & Crobat to launch high damage attacks over and over without the need for significant charging time between attacks. (Emma) (Pokémon Masters EX Version)" to be played in the Jukebox.
Run-up to 3.5 years celebration
Pokémon Masters EX have released a brief trailer to their official YouTube account, highlighting a selection of events and bonuses that will be running over the coming month in advance of the game's 3.5 anniversary celebrations. More information on the upcoming anniversary events are expected to be released in the regular letter from the game's producers at the end of this month, and in the Pokémon Presents presentation expected for Pokémon Day on February 27th.
Originally running from February 26th to March 18th, 2020, this event follows the player, along with Gloria, as they meet up with Leon, Piers, and Marnie, who have just arrived in Pasio. This event will begin in game from February 17th at 10:00pm (PST). More information on how the re-run of this event will work, including its exact end time, and what sync pairs players will be able to use to receive bonus rewards, will be available once the event goes live.
Two fan fave sync pairs hailing from Galar will return in special scouts alongside the re-run of the Champion Time story event. Leon & Charizard will return in a Master Fair Scout from February 17th, at 10:00pm (PST), running through to March 17th, at 10:59pm (PDT). In conjunction with this scout, Leon & Charizard will be gaining the ability to Gigantamax. Marnie & Morpeko will also return in their own Poké Fair Scout starting from February 19th, at 10:00pm (PST), running through to March 24th, at 10:59pm (PDT). More information on both of these scouts, including any special discounts or ticket scouts that may be included, will be available once each scout goes live.
Gigantamax Rally Sweepstakes
Pokémon Masters EX is currently holding a special retweet rally via its official Twitter accounts. The sweepstakes offering players the chance to receive a special Leon & Charizard banner, with the exact size of the banners to be decided by the number of retweets combined between the Japanese and English language tweets. A total of 9 banners are up for grabs, with 3 banners being awarded to residents of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) who enter via the English language tweet, and a futher 6 banners on offer for residents of Japan entering via the Japanese tweet.
As of writing, the contest tweet has already hit its 6,000 retweet combined target, meaning each banner will be a gigantamax 2.8m by 2.8m in size.
Log-in Bonuses
Between February 17th at 10:00pm (PST) and March 24th at 10:59pm (PDT), players will receive up to 10 special 10-Pair Scout Tickets as log-in bonuses, at a rate of one ticket per day. These tickets can be used exclusively in a special 10-Pair Scout. Assuming this scout operates in the same manner as the 10-Pair Scout that was held for the game's 2.5 year anniversary, it can be expected to include all Sync Pairs within the general pool, including 5★ Sync Pairs. More information, including the last day these scout tickets can be redeemed, will be available once this scout has gone live in-game.
Kalos Villain Social Rally
To celebrate the conclusion of the Kalos Chapter of the Villain Arc, a one-time only gift of 3,000 gems will be distributed to all players. To receive this gift, players must login to the game between February 17th, at 10:00pm (PST), and March 17th, at 10:59pm (PDT). After logging in, the gift will be immediately sent to the player's Present Box in-game.
