I love his new name. Personally prefer it way better than his japanese name.

I think Cilan makes him sound cuter and personally made me like him even more.^-^

Keeping Iris was kinda expected... Since the name didn't sound japanese, it would be easy for an english choice.

Not so much "on" but "an" though depending on your dialect I'm still probably not communicating this right. Don't see the point in IPA transcription when people can't read it, but Google Translate seems good at pronouncing words. I just typed in "Cilantro"

For all I know we're actually pronouncing it the same and our pronunciation of Salon is different...

Well, a lot of words only have a one-phoneme difference, and that's what attaches different meanings to words, so I never actually see it as Salon.

More like Dylaan. It's not a long "a" sound like "say" but the last part is pronounced for a longer period of time.

That's actually not terrible. There might be a joke somewhere on how some people will hate the name or love it but I'm not making it.
