Pokémon Masters EX is throwing down the gauntlet to trainers once more, with the Legendary Gauntlet returning until June 6th, alongside new 5★ Poké Fair and Select Scouts focused on Sync Pairs with Bug-, Water-, and Fire-type Pokémon, as well as the regular return of the Blissful Bonanza Daily Battle event.

Epic Battle Event: Legendary Gauntlet
3 powerful opponents arrive in Pokémon Masters EX with the return of the Legendary Gauntlet. Functioning the same as past Legendary Gauntlets, players will use the sync pairs they have raised to battle through Entei, Azelf, and Cobalion's Legendary Arena battles in succession. Players can use as many sync pairs as needed to complete these stages and rack up as many wins as possible. Once a sync pair has been taken into battle, however, they can't be used again regardless of the battle's outcome. Players can earn a variety of rewards by hitting certain win streak milestones, including BP Points, Move Candy Coins, a Guaranteed Lucky Cookie 9, and 1★-3★ Deluxe Lucky Cookies. This run of the Legendary Gauntlet will remain available until June 6th, at 10:59pm (PDT).
  • Entei is weak to Water-type moves. Entei sets permanent field effects, such as Physical/Special Damage Reduction, during the fight. It will also raise its critical-hit rate which can't be lowered due to Steady Aim passive skill, and its attacks will always have secendary effects due to its Hostile Environment 10 and On a Roll 9 passive skills. Entei last appeared in the 6th Legendary Gauntlet, held across November and December 2022.
  • Azelf is weak to Bug-type moves. Azelf also has passive skills that greatly reduce physical damage it takes during the first 50% of each HP bar and special damage during the second 50%, with these extending to sync moves while on Azelf's third bar. On the very hard difficulty and while the third HP bar, Azelf will have the Piercing Gaze passive skill which allows its moves to always hit. Azelf last appeared in the 5th Legendary Gauntlet, held across September and October 2022.
  • Cobalion is weak to Fire-type moves. Cobalion is resistant to all damage thanks to the Healthy Advantage 8 passive skill. This protection can be negated by inflicting Cobalion with a status condition, although its resistance to any status condition increases each time Cobalion recovers from one, until it becomes immune. Cobalion last appeared in the 5th Legendary Gauntlet, held across September and October 2022.
Ranking results will be available between June 8th at 11:00pm (PDT), and June 15th at 10:59pm (PDT), allowing players to see the in-game rankings of the top 100 longest win streaks from all players, as well as the profiles of players on the rankings, and the sync pairs they used to achieve their streaks. Players will also be able to confirm their own rank so long as they are within the top 5,000 places. As of now, these rankings are only for bragging rights, and do not award any prizes to those players who manage to make their way onto them.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • Area info completion data will not be carried over to future Legendary Gauntlets, nor will they count for completion in the Legendary Arena

5★ Poké Fair and Select Scouts

5★ Blue & Blastoise, 5★ Alder & Volcarona, and 5★ Red & Charizard are currently being featured in a Bug-, Water-, and Fire-Type Poké Fair Scout. As usual, 5★ Sync Pairs will have a 10% chance of appearing in this Poké Fair Scout, with the featured pairs having a higher chance of appearing than other pairs. Unlike a regular Poké Fair Scout however, the pool of sync pairs available will only include Bug-, Water-, and Fire-Type Sync Pairs.

Running alongside this Poké Fair Scout is a 5★-Select Special Scout, which again includes only Bug-, Water-, and Fire-Type Sync Pairs. By spending 2,000 paid gems, players will be able to receive an 11x Scout, as well as an additional bonus selection of a 5★ Sync Pair from the limited pool. This scout can be used up to 3 times during the scouting period.

Each of these scouts will remain be available until June 7th, at 10:59pm (PDT). As always, Poké Fair exclusive Sync Pairs may reappear in future Poké Fair Scouts.

Daily Battle Event: Blissful Bonanza
Blissful Bonanza is making its monthly return to Pokémon Masters EX, running through to May 24th at 10:59pm (PDT). Blissful Bonanza is a limited-time event where players can complete one-time-per-day missions to earn Tome and Codex Sets, along with special Happy, Joy and Bliss Tickets, which can be exchanged in the shop for items such as 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets, Lucky Cookies and Lucky Scrolls. Players can acquire a total of 900 gems from completing this event in full.

In addition to the Daily Bliss Battle which can be challenged once per day, players can also challenge a Special Bliss Battle which puts sync pairs in a full force battle against the entire Blissey evolution line for additional rewards. This battle will only be available at the following times.
  • Day 4: From May 20th, at 11:00pm (PDT), through to May 21st, at 10:59pm (PDT)
