Figured I'd give this some publicity here, should probably submit a news article for this stuff one of these days. 
The European Speedster Assembly (ESA) speedrunning marathon is an ongoing event raising money for Alzheimerfonden, a Swedish charity dedicated to Alzheimer's research. You can check out ESA at their Twitch channel, secondary Twitch channel, or on their website. There's a number of Pokemon games being run at the event.
