Eusine & Suicune make their Pokémon Masters EX debut in a new Poké Fair Scout, alongside new Chase the Northern Wind Story Event

In a continuation of the recent spate of events and scouts focused on characters from the Johto region, Eusine is making his Pokémon Masters EX debut today in a new Poké Fair Scout together with his partner Suicine. Alongside this scout, Eusine will also be taking center stage in a brand new Story Event, Chase the Northern Wind.

Story Event: Chase the Northern Wind
This event focuses on Eusine and Silver, with Eusine having arrived on Pasio for the first time in his continuing pursuit of Suicine. The event is available in-game now, and will be running until July 1st, at 10:59pm (PDT). By completing battles during this event, players can earn special Event Voucher T items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items including 5★ Scout Tickets, and a Strike Move Candy Coin. Players can also obtain Gems and Event Medals for completing special missions during the event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Eusine & Suicine: +60% (x1.6) bonus rewards
• Sygna Suit Morty & Ho-Oh, Sygna Suit Kris & Suicune: +40% (x1.4) bonus rewards
• All other sync pairs with the Johto Theme Skill: +20% (x1.2) bonus rewards

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Eusine & Suicine, Sygna Suit Morty & Ho-Oh, and Sygna Suit Kris & Suicune, would grant a combined +140% (x2.4) rewards.

Log-in Bonus
This event includes a log-in bonus over 14 days. Players can receive these bonuses up until July 1st at 10:59pm (PDT), so even if you're a couple of days late starting the event you'll still have the chance to receive all of the available gifts.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Leftover Event Voucher T will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per egg at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes

Johto Poké Fair Scouts
Eusine & Suicine are making their Pokémon Masters EX Debut in a limited-time Poké Fair Scout in conjunction with the Chase the Northern Wind Story Event. This scout will remain available until July 14th, at 10:59pm (PDT). As normal for Poké Fair Scouts, 5★ sync pairs have a 10% chance of appearing in this scout. This Poké Fair Scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for x100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.

Eusine & Suicine are being released with an expanded sync grid, as well as the ability to be raised to 6★ EX. Raising the pair to 6★ changes Eusine's outfit to match Suicune's palette.

Eusine & Suicine are a Fair-Exclusive Water-Type Special Strike sync pair. The pair's moves involve a mix of both Water and Ice type attacks. Their single use The Chase Continues! move allows them to raise their own Sp. Atk by 6 stat ranks, and their critical-hit rate by 3 stat ranks, as well as applying the Cndition Nullification effect to all allied sync pairs. Befittingly for this swift Pokémon, this allows Eusine & Suicine to be powered up and deliver heavy strikes right from the word go. More information on this sync pair can be found on Bulbapedia.

Silver, who also features in the Chase the Northern Wind Story Event, will also be featuring in a Poké Fair scout later this week, where he will debut as a Sygna Suit sync pair with his new partner Sneasel.
